Mate, going on this week, all you need outside the fly half is people that can catch a ball. They won't see a ball in open / broken play so why bother picking people that can run.

Certainly the Lions need a fullback that will be secure under the high ball, as you know there will be plenty of them.

The Lions need to keep the ball in hand and attack.

I'm just glad I was still sleeping off our house to house coastal country crawl of great food and booze (Ireland>Spain>Belgium>England) and watching some enthralling 7s to mean that I didn't watch it live. What a snore fest, but at least I could fast forward. I'll be in Auckland sleeping off a night out after the first bled next week. Never has there been a big match decider I've been less inclined to get up for.

That'd said, boks will smash the lions, no matter what Warren tinkers with his line up, books did actually innovate - for them, anyway. One of their only kicks in the attacking 22 ever under ranting Rassie, and it worked.

Either way the real winner will be box kick boredom

We’re all set up for a drawn series with a few controversial ref decisions next weekend.

So for me bringing Adams and Williams in for VDM and Hogg is an absolute no-brainer. Can't figure out why Hogg was ever the starting 15, a fine player but not suited to the style of game the Boks & Lions play. VDM was picked for a specific reason which worked very well in the first test, but was nowhere yesterday.

The forwards are the bigger problem though. Would love to see Jones and Faletau start (there's a theme emerging here). But really any personnel changes will be tinkering, if Gatland's going to turn it around it will be about the game plan.

I'm sure they played such am unambitious game yesterday because he's wanting to save his big surprises for the finale

I will watch this game because it’s 1-1. Had the lions won yesterday, probably wouldn’t have bothered. Dire series with turgid tests. The lions can’t out-boks the boks so they need to change tactics. A better 10 than biggar would be a good start.

From what I'm seeing on social media, the lions loss was completely engineered by Rassie, so probably no point turning up for the 3rd test.

I've changed my mind about the centres to your suggestion

    Aki, Henshaw

But Farrell should be in the stands sitting in the middle of Murray and Daly

Looking forward to this one. Hope PSdT will be back. Lood, Trevor pushed for starting spots. Would like to see more of Marko van Staden.

The starting XV must change at some stage. It's a long season ahead.

A statement from World Rugby read: "British and Irish Lions player Kyle Sinckler will attend an independent disciplinary hearing after he was cited by Scott Nowland (Australia) for an act of foul play contrary to Law 9.12 (biting) in the second test against South Africa in Cape Town on 31 July, 2021

If true, he needs to cop whatever is coming his way. No place for that.

Way too many useless Scotsmen too but I could have told them that.
