@Duluth I'm predicting the crusaders will reach 50 points in this game, with Dom Gardiner scoring the final try as Merts on commentary proclaims the Juggernaut that is the Crusaders is back in business!

    And Ennor still at center....

Fucking Ennor! What is the spell he casts that he has now pushed two players way better than him at centre, to other positions. Why don't coaches put him back on the wing where he's electric, or fucking try him at 12?

No one can resist Ennor, I mean look at the stud. I'd turn for that!

I don't like Ennor as a midfielder because he consistently gets physically dominated by his opposites. Most of NZ's Super Rugby midfielders are 100kg or over & Braydon is 92kg, Havili is 95kg, as a combination they got physically annihilated by Heem & Ioane last weekend (both are 103kg+). Wouldn't it be great to exchange both of them for any of the Blues, Chiefs or Hurricanes midfielders? We would be content with your scraps even..

@kiwi_expat he's light boned then! I'd be surprised if he is actually only 92. Either way, I just don't like him in the midfield because he's not a very good midfielder. All his best rugby has been on the wing, apart from the odd outside break he offers nothing at centre and has been outperformed there by.... well most other centres. He should be last resort not first pick (and then fitting everyone better at centre around him).

    Goodhue at 12.

    Puke.

This is not crying out “next AB coach”

(Happy he’s back though but he’s a pure 13 IMO)

Easing him back with that knee reconstruction.
Not up to his top end speed yet.
Could be they don’t want him to get exposed on the outside break yet.He has been out for over a year with this injury.
As soon as he gets up to speed he will be back at centre.
It actually maybe smart thinking and looking after the player.

@Chris why do you think he'll go back to 13?

I agree it's his best position, bit neither razor or Foster seem to have picked him anywhere but 12 for the last few years.

Happy to be corrected, but I can't remember him in 13 for some time

Speed can take a while to come back after ACL (if at all). The rule of thumb is 12 months.

Goodhue was never the quickest 13 to begin with so 12 may be more his spot.

@KiwiMurph IMO he has the attributes, but shifting someone form 13 to 12 (or the other way) isnt as simple as it sounds, playing there more at Super will help, although seems Havili is preferred there, so he will likely get time back at 13 anyway.

In the training pics I had seen, his knee wasnt even strapped...

Because I think the Crusaders will use Havilli at 2nd five,Goodhue at centre if his form warrants it.
Ennor has had enough chances to lock 13 in.
I can't see the Crusaders putting Haviili on the bench or Goodhue if he is playing well on the bench either.

Foster well mate who would know with him probably he will put Goodhue at LH prop.

He played some 13 last year

He played 12 for the AB's after Robertson gave him 11 starts in one season at 12.

Goodhue at 12 is more a reflection of the squad. Razor is doing what's best for the team. I would rather Goodhue there on one leg than McLeod.

That Crusaders line-up surprises me. They look to be hunting an all important bonus point.

Isn't that pretty much what happened when razor decided Ennor was a centre?

    You're a more optimistic man than I.
