How dumb was Beauden for not kicking it deep into their half.

If you kick it deep they can easily run it back. You bomb to create contestable kicks.

Kick bombs all game? No thanks!

Kicking deep is pointless unless it's to space. Every team has people back covering kicks during open play on defense. The only time they don't is on turnover, or some muppet runs it.

I hear you, but all game, and from decent attacking positions on the field?

    Nah.

Oh shit I thought the Brumbies player was on his feet and over the ball there, ref didn't have the balls to call the penalty

Ben O’Keeffe (Auckland) being a tad biased there you think?

I'd be seething if I was a Brumbies fan

Only if they closed their eyes for the maul that led to their second try. Never would've happened, worst pile of shit I've seen for ages, brumbies had 4 players just joining in front of the ball carrier.

AJ Lam was the best on the park tonight. Bolter for the ABs, better pick than Clarke IMO.

Brumbies were always going to fuck this game up with a poor man's Bryn Gatland at first five. 🙂

As a Chiefs fan I object to that. I think Gatland is a poor mans Lolesio..

As a Chiefs fan I intend to salvage at least some pride from this weekend: we didn't get charged down by a prop.

And TJP is finding his old form again.

Played his best game this weekend…

Yeah Choat hardly featured bar the yellow. Almost prefer they play two sixes with big red on side and Romano to start.

All good, top 2 teams from table in final. so not too much to argue about.

And that’s why I never want Ben O’Thief reffing any of our games.

One of my hatiest things in rugby, but unfortunately it happens basically every game without being penalised.

    NZRU will be loving it.

Two reasons I want the Blues to lose it.

    1. Seeing Beauden win as a Blue is just yuck.
    2. Won’t have to hear Kirwan gloat for the next year.

RTS has a mistake at a crucial moment in him every game.

    Tom Robinson was massive

    Blues did everything but choke....

    Maul rulings farcical.

Brumbies a little unlucky with that ruck late in the game... Thought that was a penalty to them..

Looking forward to a cracking final next week..
Blues will need to be on for the full 80 to stop them saders.

The Blues nearly found a way to lose that. I would pick Robinson as my MOTM.

I think his were nowhere near as bad as plenty of the other fuck ups in that half.
