Blues still don’t have a lineout.

I worry about Leon. Surely you sub Akira on as an extra lineout option

who do you take off? as Choat has been huge in that first 40...

Huge he might be but you aren't going anywhere in this game without a lineout

While we're bagging Berry it seems halfbacks are now fair game at the back of rucks.

@Bovidae yeah something seems to have changed there in the last year or so, previously the guy wearing 9 was protected, but anyone else doign what the 9 would, wasnt....

Bloody entertaining game so far. Not sure Berry has got the scrum calls right.. felt the Blues were hard done by on a couple.

Blues have made a million tackles and it may come to haunt them later in the game.

Saders lineout has been excellent, surprised Blues haven't thrown Paps or Sotutu up.

some pretty poor kicking from both teams (the normal tripe from BB)

Going to be an interesting 2nd half, game wide open

Williams, Grace, Z Sullivan, Choat all making pretty good cases for selection.

The Darry injury makes it hard to make an early loose forward sub.

So you sit on your hands whilst your lineout gets destroyed?

    Make a brave decision.

Reds subbed their whole front row after 37 mins last night.

Front rowers can come back on

An injury from 4-8 would result in Eklund playing as a loosie if you use up that sub. It’s a huge risk

You might be right but there are two locks out there. Should be enough to win a lineout. Teams should also train for these circumstances - over a season you are not always going to have your best options out there.

Think Grace and Strange have gone really well for us.

That blood bin for Jager will be pretty handy in terms of keeping some legs in our props - especially because KSM looks pretty vulnerable.

Use Suafoa or Sotutu at the front. Quick, short throw and get the ball out.

You could have brought Ioane on at lock, that's the only logical way to do that.

Why does Barrett bother kicking? Wouldn't it be easier to just give the ball away?

With no possession, Beauden decides to kick, too deep for chasers and too short to gain time.

    Predictably the Crusaders score.
