I did have a wry smile this morning when checking the news.
Top 8 stories on the herald, 7 were about the quake.
At number 3 was a story about Hilary Barry and why she quit. She was referred to as Mother Hen.
There were two stories about her, the second was her in her capacity as the beyonce of the news describing the thieves who broke into the houses of evacuated people as scumbags. Ya think?
Interestingly there was an earlier story today about the much hotter woman she replaced pointing out that she found out she'd lost her job when she read it in the news but it was bumped down the order for yet another story about TBOTN and how she left three news without having another job lined up. You can do that when you earn 6 figures and probably have gardening leave in your contract, try it when you live week to week and you're on minimum wage then its actually difficult.

funnily enough, I think she does much better as a newsreader (is that what we call them?) and when she was doing her serious stuff in the past couple of days, she comes across better than the #tryhardunfunnydozycondescendinghigherthanmightywench she is every other day normally.

Ask where the fathers of the kids are?
