The leftard blogs have decided that despite being a close friend of Helen Clark Soper and his wife are national
shills because they are reporting on what they are seeing . Back in the real world I’m loving articles like thishttp://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=12026220

Just read the latest article on the Curran saga - with the classic line that she is currently in Australia for the Commonwealth Games and will return on Friday.
National don’t want her sacked , you can bet there’s an oia request to see when her tickets were booked to further humiliate labour

@jegga oooh that would be gold.
David Farrer described her as the batsman in a social cricket team that you instruct all your teammates not to bowl out and drop all their catches because if they get out someone who knows what they are doing might take their place.
-
@paekakboyz bronze surely?
-
@taniwharugby I see your bronze and raise you a participation certificate

Yuss , another lunatic running the asylum . Enjoy electoral oblivion Greens , James Shaw turning his career into a virtue signal looks pretty silly now.

Of course she beat Julie Ann Genter. Julie Ann is white, whch is -100 points in the oppression olympics. She didn't have a chance.
Both are lunatics anyway so it didn't really matter who won.
Fuck the Greens are a joke.

Davidson is more of a lunatic than Genter , Genter would have been about to rustle more votes from those suffering from white liberal guilt . Davidson is the sort of shrieking lunatic that hangs out with people that design video games that award points for killing Israelis or accuse Israel aid the Nice and Munich attacks . I’d love to know her opinion of Linda Sarsour .

Shaw, on paper at least, had the credentials to bring some rationality to the Greens. He's proven to be too weak to get the job done

He was touted that way, if he was as clued up as they made out to be he wouldn’t have joined the Greens or if he did let the material girl base an election campaign around her fraud .

He should have started his own party. He is being dragged down by the crazy commie wing of the party and seems powerless or too impotent to do anything about it. Either that or he believes all that shit too

If Shaw left and started a new party, it would fail to reach 5% while the Greens would continue to truck on without him and his reasonableness, same as they did when Rod Donald passed away.
Meanwhile, Curran is a muppet, but a public servant's employment ending over meeting the minister without permission has to be just about the most beltway story ever. Sure, both of them are idiots and no doubt the chair and CEO have been embarrassed by it all, but the amount of press it got was well over the top (same as some of the nonsense that used to get printed about Sir John Key).
The excise increases were flagged in Labour's manifesto as exceptions to their "no tax increase" promise because most governments have done that as part of increasing operational funding for transport improvements (the last period of no fuel tax increases was the mid-90s). Scrapping RONS for rail and public transport was also flagged in their manifesto - bloody politicians, doing what they said they would.

It was the cover up hat got Hirschfeld, her bosses lied for a month to parliament over it. The most pathetic thing in the whole affair was the labour mps trying to make out there was something wrong with Griffen ringing Lee three minutes before her resignation .
You can say that all you want but I doubt the excise/tax thing is going to get much traction out there in the voting public.
I think the greens are gone next election, the calibre of people they have attracted in recent years has been going rapidly downhill. Thats not just a problem for them, I think less people are prepared to enter politics these days but when you're a small party that traditionally is a bit odd the pool of weirdos willing to stand is bigger than the sorts of people they had when they first got into parliament.

I think the greens are gone next election,
Their voters are not well represented on the Fern. I know some, they can be a bit evangelical. Remember their job is to get 130,000 people voting for them, and over 160,000 did AFTER one of the co-leaders tried to blame fraud on the oppressive capitalist system.
The only thing that will stuff them is if their supporters think that they aren't doing enough in power. It's a common theme for support parties - really hard to make a difference, but your supporters tend to be more extreme than most.

Greens went too far into social and economic policy when they could easily maintain a core of environmental interest voters.
I wouldn't be surprised if the increasing political Forest & Bird starts putting up candidates.
