How was that a yellow card? It shouldn't even have been a penalty.

It was clearly a tip tackle and he landed on his upper back. To me as a neutral a yellow card was the only right outcome. It has been officiated that way in Super Rugby, too.

If they were similar, they should have been penalised with a card.

Shameful. The NZRU should step in and take over the running of the Auckland Union and the Blues. This kind of shambles can't continue in NZ's biggest city

Canterbury looking strong; if they keep on playing like this, I can see them winning another title this year.

Auckland has lots of work to do, but they're not alone in having trouble with the law changes.

Well I hope you c##ts who were claiming auckland as favourites for the title unloaded at the tab :)

Just back from the game, total domination. Jordie Barrett is the real deal, jack Goodhue has huge potential. Hope we can hang on to that English winger.

Auckland just typical Auckland, Ill-disciplined, poorly coached and nobody willing to do the hard yards.

I think I said Auckland should win with all their talent. The question was whether they could put it all together. Still I didn't expect that.
