Interesting information (re the watermark) if true
Will DHS officials follow the watermark to verify the election?
Posted on November 5, 2020I’m happy to see that so many Americans came out to vote in this election. Record numbers cast their ballots for president.
But looking at the total votes cast is a little confusing in certain battleground states.
Pennsylvania had 500,000 more votes than people registered. North Carolina had 500,000 more votes than people registered. Nevada had 150,000 more votes than people registered. Georgia had 100,000 more votes than people registered.
These voter statistics point to something more nefarious going on. Many are multiple standard deviations from recent presidential election totals.
Well reportedly there is a way to discover if all these ballots cast are authentic, according to the Department of Homeland Security officials.
DHS, which printed the ballots, embedded radioactive isotopes and watermarks onto the legal ballots. A quick scan can pick up the identifying features to validate the vote.
This could be a way to authenticate the 138,000 mysterious ballots that showed up in Michigan Wednesday morning after state officials called an end to the count and said it would resume later in the morning. In fact the counting started up again only an hour later with the addition of the new cache of votes.
So will DHS officials follow the watermark to verify the election results? It appears that is what will happen.
Got the numbers for states that Trump isn’t unhappy with? That might show whether these are irregular or not.

Trump's behaviour over the election perfectly encapsulates why he is so reviled. It has nothing to do with whether he is conservative or liberal, or left or right or anything like that. This is the bullshit line trotted out by his supprters - it's all because the media is left wing. It's not really, it's that he is a piece of shit who thinks he is above the institutions.
He's acted like that from the outset, and done his utmost to remove independence from the other branches of government, and basically wants to behave like he is a king. Now he's tweeting that he wants people's votes to not be counted, so even democracy itself isn't above his own self-interest.
Shame on the Republicans who have not had the strength of character to denounce him. If he loses, watch the backlash from these cowards.
Shame on the Democrats who have been so fucking useless that they may not be able to defeat someone both immensely unlikeable and abjectly incompetent, who with 4 years to prepare for it have managed to come up with 77 (?) year old Joe Biden. -

@Winger psst Not everything you read in the right wing blogs you quote incessantly is necessarily accurate.
Over 9 Million registered to vote in Pennsylvania (Pa Dept of State). With over 90% of votes counted there have been roughly 6.5 Million votes cast.
You do the math.
-
@dogmeat 'The math' - if that is its real name - is nothing but propaganda spread by the left wing media, as dictated by their taskmasters the wealthy liberal elite. All to take power away from both the people, and businesses like oil companies, who are somehow not wealthy elite.
See also physics as related to climate change.

I expect the late John McCain would find it ironic that his home state might be the one to send Trump packing....
It was a forecast possibility. McCain was widely respected and Trump's comments about him were widely reviled.
Would be nice to see his behaviour have consequences. -

It’s not hard to be cynical about Pennsylvania given there is long history of litigation surrounding elections particularly in Philadelphia districts.
I don’t have anything to suggest there are irregularities this time around, but this stuff comes up so frequently in PA. One might say it’s because of the swing nature or the size of the EC, or just plain old political posturing. But controversy and PA aren’t too far away from each other!

This situation was pretty easy to see coming and could have been mitigated pre-election day by communication of a counting plan so that there werent 'unexpected' dumps of votes.

How many times have they found anything significantly wrong?

There are 18 states where the electoral college members are legally able to vote differently to the popular vote in their state. One or two faithless voters would change everything.
Would only be fair for comparison. Let's recount the whole thing!

@reprobate I agree mate. But I think it's kind of shown two types of 'leaders' aka winners that seem to get traction in the states. The first is the statesmen-type, articulate, informed, aka more in the mold of your usual politician. Then there's the maverick, wild-card, type leader who is all fire and unconstrainted by protocol or usual practice. Trump is definitely the latter (imo) but he's also a political outsider, so that adds even more to his mana in the eyes of those suspicious of slick politicians.
Somehow there is a blind eye turned to his membership in the elite (multi-generational elite) as he's such a dynamic and successful businessman (insert whatever level of sarcasm you feel appropriate).
But however you view him he has been a lightning rod for nearly half of the US who are clearly turned off by their other options (or non-options). But it's a huge failure for the democrats that they have continued to read the room so poorly and haven't made any real strides and re-engaging with the stuff that is important for many of those Trump supporters - especially those that really don't like Trump but hate Dem policy.

I agree with all that except that he has been a lightening rod for half the population.
Many that voted for him would have the primary reason that they never vote Dem under any circumstances. Sadly there is also mixed into your group many whose support is based on some of the more 'unsavoury' shit he talks. They are loving the chance to have some of their bigitory and unfounded 'knowledge' spoken out loud.
There are overlaps in all these scenarios of course. The US has been based on 'winners and losers' probably since the start. The trick is to make more people either feel like they are winning (or have a chance to win) than feellike losers.

@ACT-Crusader I'm not saying that there is no possibility of some voter fraud although based on evidence to date I wdon't think there is enough nous to make it significant.
What I was doing was illustrating how many BS conspiracies out there - thanks @Winger for providing so many examples.- that can be refuted with ease. e.g. Allegation more people have voted than registered in Pennsylvania. Reality about 30% of those who registered have not bothered to vote. Given the choices available who can blame them!!

Stop it with alternate facts!
The trumps are clearly getting cheated out of their birth rights, after The Don it was going to be little Eric’s turn followed by Ivanka who would have been the first female elected President.
Now it’s all been taken away from them by the fraudulent Dems.

Biden needs about two thirds of the remaining 47k votes to be counted in Georgia. Going to be one of the tightest ones.
This may also be slipping under the radar for many...
All eyes are on Georgia, and not just because of Trump’s dwindling lead. Senator David Perdue, Republican incumbent, may drop below 50%, which could force a Jan. runoff that could determine Senate control.
I don't know how this works apart from what is stated above but Perdue is sitting bang on 50% at the moment
-
Is Georgia likely flippable?
Biden down by 13k with 99% counted?
I'm struggling to find a good site or blog with this sort of info. I don't care if they get it wrong, its like a sport. A bit like Test cricket or Tour de France. Battles within battles.
E.g. how much was the margin at 98% and 97% count? What is Biden's chase down 'momentum'.

There’s a number of cases, but a fairly significant court case earlier this year that linked a former congressman and an official in multiple elections dating back to 2014, 2015 and 2016.
