Yeah cos of all the apocalyptic violent shit, not cos of her
Just because it is an American post-apocalyptic disaster doesn't mean people should let themselves go! Whatever next, unkempt hair during a nuclear war? Dirty teeth during a plague? Standards, people!

Just started Dune Prophecy
Decent so far
Anyone know why the Valya Harkonen isn’t bald and pasty like the rest ?My brother did a lot of the SFX on this production including designing the vehicles used.
He said it was quite challenging coming up with designs for the vehicles such as the spice miner that is 10,000 years before Dune Pt. 1 was set.
They needed to look familiar but ealier tech which applies to the whole series.

That is terrific.
Please pass on ( I’m sure he’s heard it plenty already ) that he did a magnificent job. Captured how I imagined things would look brilliantly.
Fair to say the technology didn’t evolve much though, not being a nerd of @NTA like ability is that because the machines got banned ?

@Nepia ha, I thought I had posted on that series, basically Aussie Yellowstone.
I think I must have missed your post. The first ep fooled me, lucky it's a short series so I can just plough on through.

Alternatively you could just watch something you like?

Then what would I complain about?

The Old Man Season 2
Matured like a fine wine
Masterful

I really enjoyed S1 but felt a little let down by the ending. I can't remember why now though <shrug>. Also I felt that while it got more intricate during the series it became a little less punchier?
Will check out S2 though.

Just finished (assume finished) season 2 of “the lioness”.. Thoroughly enjoyed it although writer/producer writing himself into the show was unexpected
Can’t say much without spoilers but enjoyable if you don’t take it to seriously -
@bayimports I just tried to start S1E1 this weekend but thought it was pretty shit. Girl with no training kicks ass, gets thrown into a huge situation straight off the bat and knows exactly what to do. Does it get remarkably better?

From memory I think they did explain her experience fighting in later eps, but youre loosely following on. Basically how she becomes part of a CIA hit squad. (if you can get passed the believability piece then its ok)
I also like "the day of the Jackal", but if anyone thinks it is remotely possible for Lashana Lynch to chase and get close to Eddie Redmayne in a race through a forest with her ass the size of a small tank, then believability is also not a criteria high on the list for a lot of action programs these days.
Still a good watch though

Haven't seen it but Redmayne is hardly the most manly man.
