Apology accepted, just don't do it again.
What would you do without your resident SJWs telling you what you think?
I...just don't know. Too scary to contemplate.

Quite clearly she's letting the OWMs tell her what to think.
Watched The Infiltrator last night. Walter White is on the good side of the war against drugs infiltrating members of Pablo Escobar's USA based crew. John Leugazamo (I Messum-ed that) and Diane Kruger in support.
Decent but a bit slower moving than NARCOs. 3.5 washed dollar bills out 5 dodgy Panamanian based banks.

Could have some fun removing a couple of words from that....

Equilibrium
Christian Bale enforces the laws in a dystopian, post-WW-3 future.
Feelings and emotion have been identified as the causes of conflict, so have been banned. People suppress their feelings with Prozium and get about their day with minimal ... anything. Art of any kind is banned as it elicits emotional responses.
Anyway, the first half of the film is about as dry as that description, but it picked up nicely toward the second stanza.

Yeah maybe a slightly rough spanking Mistress.

@NTA I didn't mind that film , I think it went straight to DVD . It was like the matrix without the benefit of Carrie Anne Moss in tight leather.
That's a good summary - also big nods to Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury.

Ha! A book of mine out next year has a femdom heroine. I did a fuckton of research, and know a lot more about the topic than I ever thought I would...
Actually, my research even included a historical truth is stranger than fiction moment. Selected a random street because it had the right London location, as it turned out, a lady who lived there ran a flagellation house in the late 1700/early1800s and was famous throughout Europe.
I kinda love my job so much. -

Jungle Book
Worth all the plaudits. 5 out of 5 burned tigers
Not that sold on it truth be told Nick. The Americanisms in the dialogue grated a bit and although the film was well put together (aside from the Seppo-ness) it didn't quite meet my expectations. Not a waste of time by any means, just not quite as good as I'd hoped.

Bridget Jones Baby.
I laughed quite a lot. IT's a proper chick flick, but there are some bloody funny scenes. Ending is quite predictable. But, if the missus wants to watch it, then of course leverage the shit out of it as a favour to her, but don't be against it, it is quite funny.
In the theatre I watched it in, a whole bunch of cougary Mum cheered when Dempsey took his shirt off ... so it is that sort of movie.

I never read the book, and saw hardly any of the Disney animated movie. So I was going in fresh.

That's one of those "saw it years ago but wouldn't mind doing so again" type of movies. I always like a good post apocalyptic flick that imagines how life might be like......doesn't it lose all credibility by having him waste multiple enemies single handedly without a scratch or am I thinking of something else ?
-
@NTA I read the book (and the Just So stories) so long ago I've all but forgotten them The Disney flick is still fresh in my mid though thanks to raising two Ms Catos. The Disney film is referenced more via the music than anything els and of course is more Seppo centric again. For me it was not so much the film not being much cop more that my expectations were pretty high. It's a film I'd be able to watch again in a few years time though.
