Larry Ellison
I've started watching The Dropout (about Elizabeth Holmes, the Theranos chick)
So far the most unlikeable character by far is Ellison. They've painted him to be a giant fucking douchebag.
Which is concerning for the rest of the show to be honest
Ta.
Now on my list. Read about this a fair bit.
Watched a doco that was good too, I think it was The Inventor.
Doco and book excellent
This has started a bit naff to be fair, and if they make her sympathetic i am going to be pissed
Could be a second series for this Theranos saga

Anyone tried Eternaut?
Going to give it a whirl today
Pretty enjoyable so far, acting seems good and probably pretty accurate as to how humans behave. I am undecided on the bugs though, but I guess that is no more of a stretch than fungi infected humans or zombies.
I wanted to like this heaps more than I am so far. I usually love post apocalyptic stuff.
I'm finding this show quite hard going, whenever they're outside is pretty hard to follow due to the conditions and I'm struggling a bit to engage with some of the characters. The bad things have just made an appearance though so will hopefully get better.

I was initially sceptical, but it got better. Second season moreso.

Mr Inbetween.
Why has this been hidden from me?

The bugs have appeared and the weather has cleared up. Show is much better now

I have started Murderbot, enjoying it so far. Quite a bit of humour which is good, basically a Robot trying to protect stupid humans who itself hacks its programming and becomes more humanlike. Only major downside is its one episode a week and they are only 22 minutes long. In an age of 1 hour long shows it feels like its over before it begins.

I think it's been mentioned multiple times in this thread.

Dying for sex
This was one I watched with the wife.
Michelle Williams gets diagnosed with terminal cancer and when her husband/partner still won't have sex with her (after several years of treatment for breast cancer she'd beaten) she leaves him and goes to discover her sexuality.
Michelle and David Rache were both good in this, Sissy Spacek also stars, along with Rob Delaney who is amusing as her neighbour (also looks like a fill sized Peter Dinklage)
There are plenty of genuine laugh out loud moments, overall is a decent watch too, but it is only a single season, so if you or whoever you watch these types with is emotional, you know how it ends.

Andor
Read a fairly interesting comment/article somewhere about how 1 entire episode progressed the plot without anybody actually stating what was happening. Just... everything was implied. And then compared that to everything else on TV today - which I think has been mentioned here previously.
Then I go to try and watch S02 - and yeah, I realise I've already watched E01... but drunk/stoned. It's fucking hard to watch/understand (Edit: - no - remember) when constantly under-the-influence. And possibly the best litmus test reminding me I should "do better".Another-Edit - the comment/article I referenced - mentioned Reacher as a stark opposite. I ended up watching Reacher S03E01 tonight instead of attempting Andor S02E02.
Polar opposites. -
@Catogrande said in TV Serieseseses:
Yes. The difference between series1 and then 2 & 3 of Reacher was that on the former they let the story develop instead of inserting inane dialogue to explain the story.
S3 started with a bang, developed into a whimper and ended in a cliche.

Oh man I am jealous. Such an awesome show you have ahead of you. Not sure I can talk the Mrs into a rewatch
