It was just on the news, I love how fucked over that opossum looks at the end. That kiwi tore it a new one.
Why was it on the news? That video's been around for nearly a decade... I know journalists are lazy as fuck, but unless there was some new angle to it... WTF?
It was a story about conditions being right for the rat population in the bush to increase dramatically due to the temperature being perfect for it. They showed rats and stoats eating native birds and I guess they included it at the end for light relief.

Cheers - that's fair enough. It is a video I revisit every couple of years, as I find it rather entertaining.

Haven't seen this uploaded to youtube yet, but Holy Mother-Effin' God this is Gold IF REAL and it looks pretty damn real the Voice of America Turkish Service has posted video on their twitter feed of a protest that gets out of control outside the Turkish embassy in Washington DC a couple hours ago where Erdogan just met with Trump and Jesus Lord Almighty if that isn't Erdogan himself putting a boot into a protester. Go take a look for yoourself and see if you think it's real. It looks like it's out a movie scene but it's blue check mark verified on twitter VOA I am flabbergasted and convinced.

The reality is he's a weak gutted individual who will do nothing. If I was a police officer there I'd have been night sticking the suits attacking defenceless civilians exercising their right to peaceful protest.

There did seem to be a couple of them pushing the suits away.
I think you may find the cops would have been told that those guys were all on diplomatic status meaning there was little they could do in so far as arrests and the best option was to try and seperate the groups. -
It sort of didn't look real to me possibly because the camera was so steady. I thought the cops did ok. It would have been one of those holy fuck moments you get from time to time.
Separate the groups and investigate later is probably what I would do.
