@Stargazer Another possible reasoning for bringing in Fekitoa is with only having 3 midfielders they need a 4th in case someone gets crocked during the buildup. In test 1 and 2 they have played 3 midfielders in the 23 so they probably think they need a 4th as cover just case something happens to the 3 other midfielders between now and kickoff.

For what it's worth I expect to see Fekitoa somewhere in the 23.

Who to believe? The Norwegians are saying something completely different.

@junior bollocks look at the footage. Farrell holds his ankle he then over runs because he thinks he has to go wide. Its standard play in the premiership holding players past the ruck.

Mate, I've seen the footage - I know he was held. But that's not the reason her overran the ball and allowed Murray to get inside him. If anything, being held would result in Murray getting outside him.

Now don't go using the laws of physics, this is no place for logic or facts.

The point I believe @Wreck-Diver is trying to make is that as a result of being held, rather than simply sliding into position, TJP now feels he has to bust a gut to get across and hence is more easily stepped.

If Ardie hadn't been wrestling on the other side of the ruck he may have covered the gap.

Aaron Smith says this weekend has a RWC final feel about it already. We will shut them down in all areas Saturday night

I am VERY confident for an AB's win this weekend. 20 points at least.

    Weirdly I'm not confident.

51-49 in favour of the good guys.

    Not used to uncertainty... 😞

They won't score 49 points. The ABs will be angry at being outscored in tries and will consider it a challenge to stop their forwards and protect our line. BSGs prediction may not be that far off

@booboo The damn Norwegians have changed their forecast to heavy rain. I know many will say that the rain shouldn't be a factor, but I believe it will be. It slows down our game, limits the width that we normally play with and brings their bigger but slower pack into the game more.

@Nepia Of all the times someone's had the smart idea of playing a player out of position I'm struggling to think of one which worked. Plenty have been disasters though!

Funny how it's "out of position" when we lose notable tests.

I didn't really rate Tana in the midfield TBH. Serviceable at best, and a default option at a time when we really struggled at centre (pre Conrad). Yet his time there is considered a success.

WTF? Are you serious? He was up with the best in the world in his era as a 13.

Yep 100% serious. Depth was so bad during his era at 13 that Mark Robinson played tests and we shifted Rangi to 13 in 2003. He was there by default and was no great shakes. Not hard to be "up there with the best in the world in his era" given there was Mortlock and then daylight.

That is some serious crap you're spouting there Shark. Tana was bloody superb in the midfield. Pretty much the only times Mortlock really ran wild against the ABs was when Tana wasn't there.

Not at all. AVERAGE. Way down the list when discussing the best All Black centres.

There is such a fine line between genius and foolishness... I cant decide which one your post is. Well played.

I know BOD is pasty white, but it's a bit harsh to call him daylight.

My bad. Further illustrates how far behind the best of the era Tana was though.

I can't work out if you're on the troll, or if you somehow developed a dislike of him like you did with the Chiefs that makes you lose all sense of objectivity.

@Stargazer some comments in the media that Laumape was found out on defence...so it could be that they don't see him as starter. Would take a bit of a review to work that out.
