Larkham is proud of the Brumbies' whole season. Sounds like he has pretty low standards.

They lost 13 squad members according to Bernie. That is a pretty impressive effort

    Impressive 2nd half Canes.

Thought Jordie was the more impressive Barrett. Not for the first time this season.

    Dane Coles is a freak.

Yeah BB was rather subdued. He's been a bit off colour for a while now. I suspect he's carrying an injury.

It's easy to forget that Jordie is only 20. Enormous potential.

    I heart Coles. 3-0 🎣

I wonder if we just saw how the Bled cup will go down. Would not surprise me in the least.

    I wondered the same thing.

The wobs are struggling atm but not in the locking department. Arnold and Coleman are Australia's best set of locks since Eales and Giffin. They will be a world class pairing very soon. Arnold was immense tonight.

Who would want Cheikas job about now.

Cheika would love this. Gives him time to add 20 players to his squad and a month to build for the 4 Nations. hey have a head start on everyone.

True, but at the end of that month he will still name a team of 15 and have no idea who his bench is until they run out.

Larkham having a good cry again at the PC. What a whinging fluffybunny. Bitched about both the Canes tries in the first half and reckons a falcon is a knock on. Whinged about the last maul at the end of the 1st half being pulled down. Also said the Brumbies were much better than the Canes in the 1st half.

The prick did the same thing after last year's quarters loss to the Highlanders as well.

Considering the draw gifted his undeserving lot a spot in the finals, this guy has got some nerve complaining about the decisions in this game.

    PC if anyone is interested.

@akan004 The last time I looked Mr Larkham rugby is a game of 80 minutes not just the first 40. Once again your side is shit when it comes to playing a full game. Bellend

I don't think even a years prep will help this Wallabies side. I would rather a team full of players that have been playing high intensity finals football I reckon.

Dane Coles is a freak, I swear Coles played basketball in another life, he sure does have some nice skills. Yep BB seems to have been off for over a month, his form pre AB's was electric.

@akan004 i'm guessing Larkham didnt have anything to say about Jordie being denied a try off a bullshit forward pass decision.

@akan004 He's right about that collapsed maul just before halftime. I was astonished that wasn't a penalty try.

I think better sides have worked him out, to be honest. He caused the Chiefs few pains while he was "electric" except when moved to fullback, where he can run in open space. Nor were the Crusaders much bothered by him.

Never give him the outside shoulder to run at -- always push him in. Watch the cross-field kick. Mark him particularly carefully when he falls back, because that's where he's really dangerous.

BB's skill set is unbalanced -- he's lightening fast and cross-kicks well, but the rest of his game is fairly standard for a Super Rugby 1st-5. In form DC and AC have much better all-round games IMO. They seem to stand flatter to the line and get the ball to their outsides in better positions.

Time will tell, but I think the days of BB carving up teams more or less by himself as he did in 2016 might be behind him.

I do think BB form is down from last year but it is worth pointing out that the Hurricanes 12 & 13 have 14 tries each this season and BB has the most try assists. So although teams have worked him out, it has opened up opportunities for players around him.

@Toddy The more attention he draws, the more opportunities are created for those outside him.

Yeah. What @Chester-Draws says about shutting him down is correct, but involves giving him a lot of attention to ensure he is contained. If that is a necessity for teams to stop him tearing them apart then it is advantage BBs team.

He'll never have DCs allround game but I'd put him ahead of AC at this stage of his career.

Disagree. Teams didn't suddenly "figure him out" a few weeks back. He's not 100% fit right now and it shows. Even Carter was ordinary when he wasn't healthy.

That "fairly standard" line is nonsense. He has an outstanding pass off both sides, his kicking game is excellent and his size allows him to hit the line more effectively than most 10s and he also has a very useful offload. Standard my arse.

Basically what you're saying is that all he has is pace and a cross-kick. What utter bollocks.
