It was especially galling that house Tyrell went down so easily when they were known to have such a large and great army - which one assumes that Lady Olenna took with her when she fled Kings Landing.
After all, it was the Tyrell army that turned the tide at the Battle of Blackwater bay.
A big chunk of the Tyrell army was the Tarly's, Randall (Sam's asshole Dad) turning on Lady Olenna was the tipping point. They had a specific scene in King's Landing earlier in the season persuading Randall for this reason.
And so what, Bronn wanted to be rewarded with Highgarden yet Jamie insisted they just walk away from it... hmmmm? Only the single most important castle in the Southern part of Westeros.
I don't think that we have seen the last of Ellaria Sand as yet as well as Yarra Greyjoy. Certainly I think/hope Ellaria has a bigger part to play.
Sadly not, the actress has confirmed she isn't dead but never reappears, just chilling in the cell forever with her daughters skeleton. Ouch.
The stupid thing is the Tarly defection itself. The entire family of his liege lord were blown up by Cercei, who now has every single region against her. Yet he betrays the family he has fought for and made an oath to so as to throw in his lot with Cercei. Not bloody likely.

I wondered why the reaction.
The line occurs in Season 3, Episode 6. The hour’s title, “The Climb,” most obviously refers to the ascent of the Wall by Jon and the wildlings, but it also connects to Littlefinger’s monologue to fellow spymaster Varys, who finds Baelish sitting next to the Iron Throne admiring its many blades. Littlefinger reminds the Spider, “Chaos isn’t a pit. Chaos is a ladder,” which he plans to take every advantage of.
Very cool find. Was wondering why Bran said that. Love how GoT manages to pull all these things from previous seasons into the current plot lines.
Did you not pick up on the look on Littledick's face when Bran said that? Only two people were in that conversation yet somehow Bran can quote it back. He is now shitting himself.
It was more the look of scheming on his face while watching Arya that intrigues me.
The best bit about Littledick's character is that you have no idea what he is thinking.Yes, the gold is at King's Landing and Cersei will buy probably pay her debt then get financed to get a mercenary army to replace what she has just lost.
The biggest plot hole in that episode is why Dani sacrificed so many Dothraki. If they had simply come over the hill and held back the Lannisters were trapped between them and the lake. Dani could have arrived from the side and toasted the whole army.
I watched the battle again. So brilliant. Bronn only ran from that Dothraki cos he was on horseback I reckon. he took a couple out en route to the Ballista.
Speaking of which I'm not sure the Dothraki are the super fighters that everyone makes out. Impossible to tell who woulda won if the Dragon hadn't shown up ( and obviously that happening turned it into a complete arse raping ).
I suspect it was Dickon ( hehe) who saved Jaime.
Just watched the battle again and slomoed the Jamie scene. I'm 99% certain it was Bronn. Definitely not Dickoff.
Well it certainly wasn't Tyrion as someone suggested
Not unless he can teleport himself like Little finger apparently can.

I did remember something was said about the gold when it was asked here, but to be honest wasn't the first thing on my mind after the battle. If I wasn't already lying down, I probably would have needed to after it, it was awesome.

Well those famous GOT teleportation devices were used frequently in this episode. As was the ability to swim a mile underwater in armour.
Easily the worst episode this season.

@Rancid-Schnitzel yep, at the very least they would have searched for him knowing his value, but then I guess searching a mile down a lake or barely moving river...or maybe they did, just didn't make thier search wide enough.
Hopefully Arya fucks up Little Finger, how many times in GOT have we seen that fucker standing back in the shadows, he needs a good stabbing.

Cant beleive Sam didnt listen to his womans ramblings there re Rhaegar's marriage being annulled.
Does this mean than he then may have secretly married Lyanna Stark and therefore Jon is no bastard afterall and actually more entitled to the Targaryen thrown than Daenerys?

A good Dragon roasting, hammer smashing heads, Bran actually doing something and an emotional brotherly reunion made it better than episode 1 I reckon.

@MN5 I think it was good, but the start made me annoyed that I probably didn't enjoy the rest as much as I could have.
Yes we watch a show with dragons and undead, but some things like swimming a mile underwater is just too far haha
@JK yeah I was surprised he didn't pick that up either, assume the book he gave to his son with that in it was one of the things they grabbed on their way out.

Forgot to mention, a bloody decent bunch of fighters going into the snow right at the end. The Hound only lost to ' The big woman' because he was wounded and Ser Jorah was a mighty warrior in the day. How the fuck they intend to capture a white walker is gonna be interesting though.

Sam not listening to Gilly was frustrating! They put that scene in purely to annoy us..
Has anyone other than Dany been able to pat her Dragons? I thought something was "clicking" in her head when he did that, but then she dismounted and acted as if nothing happened...
Stoked that Gendry is back in business, and him taking those two guards out was one of the highlights of the episode for me.
Pretty awesome crew heading off north of the wall at the end, be interested to track their progress.

Aside from the red bearded fella ( can never remember his name ) they're a fucken grumpy, sullen bunch. The weather won't help their moods either.
