Surprised no thread on it yet. Connor holding his own despite looking unorthadox as shit. Landed a few but not enough to hurt

Floyd looking way more rattled than I thought. McGregor surely leading on points so far.

Mayweather starting to exert pressure now. Maybe there is too much money on the line to risk disqualification?

Conor the ultimate moneymaker, he was never going to win but boy did he make some cash.

Stayed up and paid up and wasn't disappointed.

Seen far worse boxing PPVs, and to be fair the undercard was pretty underwhelming.

McGregor was game and gutsy with no little skill, especially for his first professional boxing match, but ultimately class & experience won out.

Would have been interesting to see if McGregor could have gotten back up off the canvas and fair to say that whilst he took plenty of great shots there wasn't much damage.

He was far more beat up in the first Diaz fight.

Whilst I know it's not Mayweather's MO and he obviously knew what he was doing tactically, I expected him to dismantle McGregor easier and sooner.

Boxing took a very big sigh of relief.

And the UFC came out very favourably too IMHO.

I'm assuming because Dana white was around UFC gets a cut? I wonder how much Conor gets?

And in the most unsurprising result of the year...

A bloke who took up MMA because he was so shit at boxing versus the pound for pound best boxer in the world, who just happened to need the purse to pay his tax bill.

I don't disagree with any of this but it must be said. Either McGregor is way better than we give him credit for or Floyd is old and past it.
