Steamers v Waikato

@baron-silas-greenback I wasn't speaking nonsense about that one yellow card. And, again as a neutral, I was watching the game with both my eyes open.
-
Well done ya cnuts!

You said that there were more that went either way. Yet you didn't have any other examples. You were talking shite.
That aside you were clearly implying that both sides suffered more than one injustice. But then threw out the pithy comment about not taking notes. Both your eyes may have have been open... maybe you needed more. -
@baron-silas-greenback You can't handle it very well when people disagree with you, can you? I don't have to give examples; this is not a scientific forum or a court. I can have an opinion on things I've seen without writing it all down, with evidence at all. Let it go mate, your team won, bonus point and all.

Don't tell me what to do, you make stupid comments I will call you on it. You want to make assertions and then have nothing to back it up except a pithy comment. Expect to get called on it.

Also Christie avoided a card for a swinging arm straight to the head...

Thanks BOP, time to flush the dunny on that season. Jesus.
Your punishment for that season was having to suffer through us doing our usual trick of taking the full 80 minutes to be sure of a win
-
@baron-silas-greenback It usually benefits the opposition if Sam Christie stays on the field so sending him off would be punishing BOP.

Came on to read the thread and found a Fern he said, he said thread instead. How nostalgic ....
Neither team looked all that great to be honest. Very sloppy defence all round. Good on us for taking 2nd spot though and a home semi, pretty solid season so far.
-
And in addition .... typical that they seem surprised that people came to the game on a lovely sunny afternoon. Beer ran out before half time.
No idea why Waikato took a drop kick conversion after their late try.
We dropped some ball especially in the first half. No pressure and no excuses.
Foketi has been really good for 3 seasons
-
@kiwipie Agreed. We won after many mistakes and much silliness. If we can eliminate these and learn to finish off "situations" we will will be unstoppable.
Many in the team are now standing up and contributing with threats across the park....almost like the old days.
Would dearly love to see a Tauranga daytime semifinal....so much better than a tiny crowd in a cold and dark in Rotorua.

A lot of unforced handling errors, but at least got the win. Campbell well and truly second half back at start of the season but best now in my opinion , Judd getting worse and his tackling is probably the worst of an inconsistent team
Still any time you beat DSW and see them relegated is something to enjoy!
