Not a single mistake from DMac?

I think we have seen some maturity , focusing more on his core duties as a FB, rather than trying to be mr X factor every time he touches it

Scotland played better than Wales did today. Welsh didn't challenge us anywhere as much.

Jiffy's pick of Ioane as motm was shallow, Sam Cane was the best player on the park by a mile

Wales were utterly farked just after half time. Can't go through 12,000 phases without it taking it's toll.

At least no squeaky bum this time.

    Cane and Ioane brilliant.

When moody is back I’d be tempted to go with Hames rather than Wyatt on the bench.

Mounga vs Sopoaga will be interesting. Also McKenzie might become the supersub 10/15 option we see. Thought McKenzie had a decent enough game today.

@tordah Crockett is always good for scrum penalties. He cost us a team yellow card in critical last 15 mins. This might be his last hurrah. Long career but hopefully we have developed some backup now.

Great game to watch. ABs' defence was solid with massive performances from Cane, Taylor & S Whitelock. Great tries to Naholo and Ioane. Great try saving tackles from BB and Todd.
Invisible Squire (until the final 15 mins) and PT.

@stargazer squire? What you smoking? I think under defensive pressure everyone did their job.

I seem to say at the end of every game, Barrett is not the answer at 10. Agree that he was not helped by Smith’s indeciseveness , who I thought almost screwed up Naholos try with that open field inside step of his. Natolo always mixes good with awful, Iaone is becoming the first player on the team sheet, and Cane and Todd operated really well together. I like the AB tackling technique but I thought we would have got more turnovers, perhaps Barnes was not calling them aggressively.

I'm watching on delay. I'm at the 23 minute mark. Nz have had 19% posesion (just flashed up on screen). Nz get a defensive penalty under their own posts. Barret taps to himself and then hoofs the possession back down the middle of the field.

I've just popped in to say; what the actual FUCK was that?!"

It was a free kick. So he had to tap. Would gave preferred he went for touch though

You don't have to tap a FK first.

Defence has been awesome this year overall. On attack I want to see us do more with bodies in movement. That last try was great example of what we can do.
Wales did it well, I wonder if we aren't showing our hand to early for World Cup.
Cane amazing, also though ALB looked good in the little things. Overall every seemed to do there job out there.

Hopefully that was Crockett's last game in black. We call him 9 pt Crockett as he is always good for at least 3 penalties. He'll be 35 by the time the next international season rolls around. Thanks for your service and time to move on.

He made an great tackle on a Welsh front-rower just before Crocket did his "three scrum penalties" act. Doesn't lack ticker or skills and has a big future,,,but where?

If DMac makes a good fist of 1st5 for the Chiefs, then 10.

    Big if mind.
