Great point. It's a pretty sad world we live in when the morning rumble on the rock is by far the best brekky radio to listen to.
I would take the Hauraki team over that lot in a heart beat.

Well I think we can agree they're all better than Jay Jay and Polly Gillespie.
Was working at a house with a client that had more fm on(obviously an ironic name like calling a redhead blue) and Gillespie was singing the Santa song . Fortunately I had the option of putting on my earmuffs and firing up the skillsaw . I pity anyone who has to sit through that crap.
Saying that Jeremy Wells is better than those two is like saying chlamydia is better than herpes. -

Her bullshit does such a disservice to those who struggle with mental illness and yet somehow don't act like a high school mean girl. I think that is why there are so many 'haters'.
Call me cynical but her sudden absence on air and publicity about her depression was a little bit too well timed for her book launch .

I haven't listened to that station since the early days in Hamilton.
I did work there a few years ago but thanks for the heads up on demographics.

my radio station is 729am, listening to Gibbit & Co in the morning and then on the way home Darcy & Goran...listen to some local music station at work as my radio doesn't get 729am!
All the females at work are trying to get us playing Xmas music...
When I drive to Auckland I have to change from am to FM and usually go to Hauraki.

@crucial LOL. You would not believe how many conversations I've had about lesbian sex since the book released. Random publishing weirdness: gay men romance written by straight women sells infinitely better than two chicks pairing. I don't understand this on any level, so don't ask me why.

Just guessing - but do do straight blokes who might be interested in lesbian sex really read romance novels? Surely they just use the internet...that takes out a large number of readers - even the sickos here.
Assume the gay men thing is just about numbers of gay men who read about gay men.

It's actually QI and I understand your puzzlement. My wife also writes so the demographics are intriguing..
Certainly won't enter a gender debate as the fern has me completed confused about that. Until recently I actually thought there were two. Ha, how naive I was. I will try and refer to everybody as Zhe in future.
