We had no wifi or internet either other than the data from our phones,
Spark topped us up free of charge but trouble is how fast the battery drains on your phone when your using 4G. -

Bit of rain around SEQ over the last week (55mm NYE and pleasant evening storms 4 nights in a row). Thought some of it reached north ... obviously not as far as you?
Careful what you wish for though Mariner. These Qld droughts have a habit of ending somewhat spectacularly (ExTC Oswald being one example ... )
