I didn't know there was going to be any sequels, it's completely different to the book too.

Warm bodies had near nudity and a hotter female lead.

I watched an Aussie movie she made before she went to US and got famous-ish where she got starkers ... can't for the life of me remember the name of it. :(

    The movie is called restraint.

I think mentioning a hot actress is naked in a movie without naming it should result in a lengthy ban

Beyond the edge looks like it will be several varieties of awesome. I'm going to see it on the big screen despite the fact I strongly suspect it lacks any female nudity.

Likewise. I watch movies at home these days but this one deserves a trip to the flicks. Not sure whether to do the 3D or 2D one though.

I would cop that, but don't you think that mentioning the actress and her hotness and not letting the Fern know that she is naked in a movie when you know the exact movie is ban worthy as well?

We can serve our ban together posting in the comments sections of Whaleoil and The Standard!

I'm not usually a fan of the blondes but she definitely gives me the tingles ....

I didn't know about that movie till I looked it up after you mentioned . So thank you in a round about way I guess.

I tried posting a fairly innocuous troll on the standard once and unknowingly picked the name of someone who'd aready been banned ,let back, banned again and tried logging in under different names. By fuck they piled into me with the sort of shrillness you'd expect from a bunch of fishwives simultaneously menstruating, it would like signing up here and calling yourself Davidav1. That was enough for me.

Btw have you ever come across a weirdo called Redbaiter?

:mocking: That's classic!

Redbaiter is classic - it took me about 4 read posts until I figured out where he/she sits.

I would never post on any right wing blog ... I just come here and get piled into with the sort of shrillness you'd expect from a bunch of fishwives simultaneously menstruating. 😉 (TBF we have pretty decent discussions around here most of the time).

To keep on topic. Teresa Palmer is in a movie called Take Me Home Tonight with Eric from That 70s Show. Not a great movie but she's in it.

You posted enough identifying pieces of information for a successful google search. Good work.

Oh - Iron Man 3. Watched it while I was off last week for chuckles. Pretty cool I thought. The next Avengers movie will have to be balls-out awesome to beat this and the last Avengers movie.

Seen a few movies recently

Jobs - (Steve Jobs biography) Surprised by how much I enjoyed it, not sure how accurate it is but a good watch 8/10

Rush - (F1 rivalry James Hunt - Niki Lauda) Best movie I've seen in a while 10/10

World War Z - (Zombie apocalypse) Enjoyed it, even had a few frights on the way 7/10

The Internship - (Vince Vaughn, Owen Wilson, ageing salesman trying to get a job with Google) Watched it out of boredom, good easy watch 6/10

Carrie (Original Horror from 1976) -Finally understand 30 + years of references to this film, considering its age it holds up ok 6/10

The next Thor and Captain America films look to be maintaining the standard as well. It's pretty amazing to have this consistent thread through so many films, something for the Star Wars crowd to look to emulate with stand alone films they are looking at separate from Episode VII

Beyond the Edge - worth a watch. If you have already seen the numerous docos based on the footage taken during the expedition when Hillary and Tenzing 'knocked the bastard off' then you'll find a lot of it appearing again. What they have done, though is added new footage (some of it stunning) of the mountain and re-enacted the stages of the climb above the South Col (which hadn't been filmed). The editing is very good and the actors shot's taken on Mount Cook blend seamlessly into footage taken up Everest itself.

It is a kiwi-centric view and although rightly lauding the work and tenacity of Hillary and Lowe they did seem to downplay some of the poms efforts. I'm OK with that as the original docos were the opposite.

As an aside I saw this in 3D hoping for some eye popping scenic shots. Sorry, but I just don't get this fascination with '3D'. It's not 3 dimensional at all, just quite obvious layers of 2D. It's like looking through a kid's viewfinder. I found it gimmicky and offputting.
