@jegga Boks won 23-12. Aussies lurch from one poor performance to another.

    I'm watching this now.

I just fell out of my chair on the 35th minute. Jerome does know that rule after all? No attempt to find a way to weasel out if it.

    Didn't bother watching. Please explain.

"Oui, Jerome. Ok, listen carefully. I shall say this only once. We have a deal".

@frank would he want to follow Deans' footsteps?

Says he wasnt ready for the ABs, not sure he'd rush over the ditch.

    @taniwharugby
I agree he won't take it.
But I think it's possible the Aussies might try.
They really are in a dire situation.

@virgil 6 by my count. 2 vs Ireland, 2 vs us, and 1 each to Boks and Argie.

Rugby Australia can't afford to pay Cheika out.
They can't afford to hire a new coach.
Neither situation would improve the player pool, coaching pool, or pathways.
    Welcome to Australian Rugby.

Of course, picking Beale at 10 again was always going to work out one way.

I haven't seen the game. Why bother?

I thought Aust got beaten up in the forwards, and the Boks certainly dominated the collisions.

That pass in the first minute from Beale makes Jordies quick throw in a couple weeks ago look like a genius move

Which is no shock as our pathways are so supidly weak

    Another bullshit article.

    Here are Cheikas words:

I keep being asked the same question every week," he said after the 11 point loss.

"It depends if you want to cry about it and sook or get on with the improvements we definitely made in this test.

"I think there's plenty of positives. The things we need to improve on is our ability to finish.

"We held our nerve really well, fought our way back into the game. I think we dominated the physical contest enough but we were still able to manufacture a lot of opportunities."

All standard losing professional coach cliches.

The rest of the article is quotes from a fellow journalist at another newspaper, from another substanceless opinion piece

Herald are pathetic, they ran a headline that said Ledesma was scathing of our play or something...in reality all he said was he was surprised they werent more focussed and accurate or similar.
