    @canefan Cam Smith in 2008 too.😉

However the point stands that, the NRL willingly push aside principles of the game for entertainment value of late

It's always been this way. Just look at the stuff players used to get away with in Origin. The only people who get the book thrown at them are the Kiwis

Grand Final day and the Roosters are going to wait until one hour before kick off before deciding whether to play Cronk or not. My guess is he will start on the bench and sub Mitchell Aubusson (a secondrower playing at halfback) at some point in the second half if the Roosters fall behind.

My GF prediction: Storm win 20-8 and Billy Slater is named MVP.

Cronk , usually a strong defender for a half , likes to defend up in the line ,

Crook shoulder , going to be difficult to hide him , if he plays expect plenty of runners to be going straight at him .

Did I say 20-8 to the Storm? I meant the Roosters. They're up 18-0 at halftime. Billy Slater still to be named MVP.

Yep, they're as bad as wendyball players. Because the NRL let them get away with it. I reckon it's been open season since the Bulldogs match when the NRL let Graham and Klemmer just abuse the hell out of the refs.

Great game from the chooks!! Storm never looked likely even after that intercept. Quiet match from Smith and Roosters forwards owned them. And all done with a crook cronk no less!! Storm just couldn't tag him.

Roooooooooooosterss!!!!!! How farken good! Turned up big time on the night.

Storm had nothing but filth. Munster scum! And Slater just came across as a whiney bitch all night! Glad he played though as no excuses. Just got out played by the a roosters team that were super keen and go there with limited physical involvement from Cronk. Be interesting to hear how his should is today

Roosters forwards and big backs just ran all over the Storm.

Tough weekend for the Olympic Park precinct with both tenants the Pies and Storm losing grand finals. Love it.

Bit shit to hear about Smith snubbing Cronk in the after match stuff. I know its mutual but Smith was there as Storm capt and how can you not acknowledge that effort... aside from the snide 'good at hiding' comments.

And a broken scapula no less!!

@paekakboyz How did he snub him? Cronk is not retiring so why should Smith make special acknowledgement of him?

Call me crazy but to not acknowledge Cronks rather special effort was off the mark. In the context of the GF game, not about who's retiring etc.

I'd like them to make a bloopers video of commentators trying to pronounce Masuisuimatamaalii Tauasa Pauaraisa's full name!

That was never going to happen ,

You are aware they had a massive fallout as friends off field ?
