@Rembrandt the gender stuff is just getting so stupid, when it's so simple.
When a baby is born, check genitalia and document its gender. Because for more than 99% of people that is accurate.
If child experiences gender dysphoria then support it through that, as absolutely all studies to date suggest it is very likely just gay and will settle into its body just fine.
If gender dysphoria continues into adulthood, they can then begin to think about transitioning to the other gender if they believe that will benefit them.
There. Done. The whole thing explained in three simple sentences. This is not fucking rocket science, yet officials either can't seem to get their heads around it or are so caught up in virtue signalling they don't care.
This type of thing highlights just how pernicious the radical left wing ideology is.

Fucking hell alright Captain Obtuse, here it is the joke, explained:
You said the phrase "global warming" - that language is seized upon by the denier cadre every time it gets a bit cold*
Which immediately put me in mind of the Good Senator throwing a snowball, so I used "climate change" instead and linked the senator to cranky old white guys.
(Note: The fact that a lot of people who deny climate change is man-made happen to be cranky old white people is just a happy parallel to my joke. If you're offended at the use of the term white, start a protest rally, or sign up here.

Yeah, that story is just absolutely fucking horrible. It basically proved beyond all doubt that gender is not just socially constructed, to the point that if you fuck around with a child's perception of gender things will go downhill in the worst possible way.

I mentioned on another thread that Money came out to nz to donate some art to a gallery and the press back then weren’t so invested in trans hysteria as they are now . They confronted him on camera about the suicide of that poor guy and he looked horrified about it .
His views on paedophilia are equally fucked.

That still doesn't explain why you decided to mention his race. You also made some bizarre reference to race during a discussion about Safe Schools.
Yes, link to One Nation. Hilarious. Still doesn't explain why you brought someone's race into a discussion about global warming. Oops I mean climate change.

Urgh, for God's sake it was a throwaway line.
Do we have to turn everything on this site into a discussion about race and PC and gender and how society has 'gone too far'?
Anyway, back to the subject. Heard an interesting thing today - one of the reasons the Libs won't call an election until the last possible moment (mid-next year), is... they are broke.
Sadly for them their top donor (by a mile) was one M. Turnbull, and I'm not sure he will be reaching for the chequebook again this time...

what ever the right-wing version of "woke" is you fluffybunnies are it
That news about the Libs is both astounding and sad at the same time. So much for being in the pocket of big business. Where did they used to get it all from, the Banks?

Also is it possible that generations of recessive genetics have actually bred gender out of Tasmanians?
Are they all inbred hermaphrodites?
Discuss. -

No one is going to give them a cent apart from a miserable amount to hedge their bets. Why punt on a losing horse?
Malcolm is reputed to have funded the last election campaign by a million or more.

@rembrandt such is my transformation away from identity and personality, I'm now nodding in agreement with Pauline.
Hinch has surprised me with his dishonest views and virtue signalling.
Disclaimer: since the Trump hysteria, I now no longer give 2 fucks about personalities in politics, my only measuring stick is, are they doing a decent job and are they authentic?

Urgh. I'd love to see your response to that "throwaway line" if it had applied to any other race. Plenty of hypocrisy here.
NTA used the term white as a pejorative term. I'd like to know why. I'd also like to know why you consider this to be completely acceptable and merely a "throwaway line".
-
After reading this stuff... after a post was flagged ot moderate
I couldnt give a flying shit about any of it.
NTA mentioning race is a throw away line... but why it has become a throw away line is a more interesting point. Race has absolutely no relevance to this discussion, so it already has a head start on being considered throw away. I would prefer pointless.. but throw away works as well.
What is more fascinating is the tantrum by some power over people pointing out the pointless nature of a throw away comment. Rather than anyone even try to explain how skin colour is relevant or how middle age males in Australia suddenly think it is ok to bring skin colour into pretty much anything, and then just say it was a throw away comment.. well duh... it has no other value.
Now I am going to ignore this thread some more because it is about Australians and is fucking retarded. -

The gender stuff could probably go into the PC thread, but there is some pretty wide reaching implications of doing away with official gender and allowing people to "self-ID". The law treats men and women very differently (as it should). Women only spaces are also suddenly open to any number of perverts that decide they are conveniently a woman for the day. Not to mention the impact it is having on women's sports.
Gender matters. Making significant changes to society to try and incorporate a tiny minority of people that experience gender dysphoria is mindless shit, and I would much rather officials stop pandering to radical left wing activists pushing an ideology that has been shown to do nothing but damage.

We gave the PNG govt $15 mill , but you guys gave $100 mill, they spent it wisely . By wisely I mean how I would have spent it -incredibly unwisely
-
I was going to do one of my usual piss take posts about buying Maseratis never being unwise but that is actually quite sad.
It's 25 years since I lived there and it seems that not much has changed for the better. The population has doubled but I suspect that has more to do with statistics than breeding. The Aussies were also putting around a $1m a day at the time I think.Just so much that is fucked up in that article.
I really hope the Moresby roads have improved - it used to be tough getting around in a 4wd hilux.
