    Embarrassingly empty stadium.

I prefer drinking decent beer on my couch rather than $8 half strength Monteiths.

Yeah lots of half pie cricket fans think like that.

Yawn. A predictably passive aggressive response.

They'd actually fill the stadium a lot more if they took those criticisms on board.

Truth hurts i guess. Not going to cricket in your city because beer is expensive....
    Not a boss move.

    Yep you got me Baron.

I'm clearly THE only person in Wellington who thinks this way.

Nope lots of people in Wellington who are half baked fans. Nothing wrong with that.

Fingers crossed that this is Henry finding some form again. Bad bowlers don't take 73 wickets at 25, but he had completely lost his way being in and out of the side (not that that's an excuse - players should be able to adjust to rotation, especially bowlers who might need workloads managed or may be changed around depending on pitches).

No I stated how pathetically small the crowd is. Do you disagree?

Also, wonder when Dhoni was last batting inside the first 10 overs of a match? These two are key for India - one of them needs to hold the innings together because I'm not sold on the rest of their middle order's ability to play a long, patient knock in these circumstances.

Well, it would certainly look a lot better at the Basin put it that way.

I'm not surprised.....and more than half look very Indian as well.

So much for the argument Dhoni would have made a difference in the last ODI...

Looks like India jumped on the plane after Bay Oval.

The Cake Tin is another good argument for cricket grounds like the Basin, Bay Oval, Seddon park, Hagley Oval... and the likes of Napier, Eden Park, and Westpac stadium can be left for winter...

    Munro bowling now.

Based on Black Cap selectors thoughts this makes him an 'all rounder'

Heres my CDG issue, hes takes three wickets in Game 4. Thats all hes achieved - all series. I just don't think he should be anywhere near the BC's.
And is Southee injured? has he even played this ODI series?

Since when could you get Monteiths at Westpac?

@westcoastie we seem to be transfixed with all rounders who should struggle for selection on their best skill. But adding a 2nd chance skill makes in worthwhile. Arguable. maybe for the World Cup they are throwing the net wider for longer.

@kev we should have no more than two. Probably one who is there mostly on batting merits maybe - the other on bowling. So probably all of Munro, CDG, Neesham, Santner (Anderson, possibly Astle who is listed as a Batsman on Cricinfo wtf?)- we should pick only two of these.
    More specialists plz
