Some really ugly holes being left 2-3 wide of the breakdown by the highlanders. So frustrating, it's just lazy defence, people not scanning.

Great passage of play from the Jaguares. Well-deserved try.

A mixture of flailing and noncommittal defence there...

With Lentjes going off, who's replacing him there? Mikaele-Tu'u can play 6 and 8, but I've never seen him at 7.

@KiwiMurph one of the big positives for the AB’s at the World Cup is they get to avoid all the NZ referees

They didn't. With a bit more luck, they could have drawn or even won.

Were the Jaguares hard done by the ref or were they being their normal ethnic soccer culture selves?

How good is Aaron Smith playing? Even his running game has made an appearance.

Josh Ioane is hitting form and lots of potential. I've no problem with him as the ABs Number 3 First Five.

    No problem??

It would be a massive heart in mouth moment if he plays for the ABs this year.

He’s coming along nicely and starting to do more things right than not.

@ACT-Crusader I wouldn't be worried if Josh Ioane played in the 22 jersey against Namibia this year. Maybe even against Tonga or Canada.

@sparky Looks a great prospect but early days for Josh Ioane (and don't forget he's playing outside of arguably the best 9 out there). But, yeah, well worth Hansen and co. getting him into the squad and having a good look at him in black.

He's not exactly going to be playing outside Ruru if he makes the ABs...
