@MN5 that moment with Tyrion and Varys was really good to. The two characters that kept Tyrion in the game both die due to his actions in that last episode. Varys via BBQ, and it never felt like Jamie was going to make it once he was freed to get to KL. Although I did wonder if that was going to be the end of Tyrion too.

Can’t believe that episode is getting panned. Straight into number 2 for me. Fucking fantastic.
Big ending for Arya coming up. The focus on her for the last few minutes must mean something. Kill the Dragon?
I reckon Aryas story is over as I think others have mentioned. Showing her was more for us to have someone to relate to as she was running from the destruction.
-
Yeah but how many times did she get just about killed and knocked unconscious? Tedious by the end, that sort of Hollywood stuff is amongst the reasons the ep is getting panned. It was an excellent idea to have her in there to show the suffering, but it went on too long with too many miraculous escapes.

I see there are 'fan theories' (which have all been arse thus far) claiming LIttle Finger is in fact still alive...if so, maybe he will sweep in the back door and claim the Throne...:smiling_face_with_open_mouth_closed_eyes:
Can't see how he could be - he died on the hall floor in front of everyone.
Unless Bran is going to have a Pamela Ewing moment, "Oh, it was all just a dream!"
-
@taniwharugby Still - that's a theory I'd bet heavily against. Usually need someone to resurrect them (which thinking about it - the Night King did). They should have had a half rotted Littlefinger waste a few Winterfell defenders, before being returned to dust!
-
@Chris-B I dont think for a moment he will come back...but hey, is amusing reading some of the wild theories.
Also, if too many 'theories' get out there, that are in fact spoilers, they may go for one of thier alternate endings...?
-
@taniwharugby I wondered whether it might be the Directors sneakily leaking a few wild theories like baby dragons turning up - to help throw people off the trail.

Hannah Waddingham is the name. Googling of pics show more faltering than others, but she is certainly a surprise package in that you didn't expect much in that sacking.
I suspect the deleted pic may be the one I saw of a her in a wet see through bikini.

@Crucial that's a shame, shame, shame!!

Haha
The modern entitled generation. Instead of enjoying what they are given they complain like babies.
(Note: do not review the Star Trek thread....)

I've seen a petition about stopping people from petitioning for remakes of stuff they don't like. I can get behind that kind of thinking!!

Have been giving this season so far a bit of thought (given in just a few days it will all be over)
Its not like Season 8 has been a train wreck and its not like the previous 7 seasons havent seen their fair share of dud moments either.
Even the earlier seasons have had 'poor' episodes. Some were flat, didnt advance the story much.
Its felt they never quite found the right balance between rushing storylines and pacing them correctly.
I find it funny most of the moaning this season has been its rushed, yet the first 2 episodes not alot happened (No deaths) and some complained they were too slow...They definitely needed more this year, rather then 6 longer episodes it would have made more sense to have 8 - 10 normal length ones. Its felt like they went from A - D, rather then A - B - C then D.
Logic hasn't always been their strong point, the ability for characters to teleport around Westeros has always come up for discussion. But this year its been worse, feels like some minor tweeks and better thought things could have been better.
I had no real problem with the battle at Winterfell but it might have easier to understand if they showed some forces held back or if they choose that episode to lose Rhaegal (rather then the surprise attack very next episode)
They also could have shown Jon spying Arya heading to confront the Night King and hence him keeping the undead Dragon distracted.
Or even had Dani and her 2 dragons attack Eurons fleet and then losing Rhaegal in the process.Had no problem with Dani going full Mad Queen i think it was always going to happen, it just could have been more plausible if they took their time with her story. Another couple episodes back in Season 7 and the same here.
They should also have spent more time with Euron, he feels too shoehorned to be the new bad guy. Again they could have told more of his story back in Season 7.I do feel the hate and trolling is over the top however, given i keep seeing the same piss weak and unfunny jokes (Hold my beer..) with every FB post or Youtube upload, im certain most people are just trolling for the sake of it.
The scores on IMDB are ridiculous, hasnt been a 9.9 type episode this year but definitely not deserving of the 6 and 7 scores 'fans'have given them.We wont know till GRRM finally publishes both books how close the final 2 seasons are to his story. Theres a good chance D&D did sit down with George and he laid out how the story ends, they just got there in their own way.
