Gardner has had a pretty poor 2nd half. France marginally better over all. Pumas HAVE to beat the poms.

    Argentina hard done by there.

    All their own doing.

Had their opportunities and blew them.

And Gardner just blew his chance of reffing the final.

It’s not just Gardner out there, the two AR can tell him how offside France were.

The French take it: 23 - 21, but it could have gone either way. Lopez droppie proved vital in the end.

    Great game to watch.

Argentina will be kicking themselves over that.

Missed an absolute sitter of a try with a 3 on 1 overlap.

Pretty poor effort from both teams really, Gardner bottled it with some of his decisions.

The Argie player that butchered that try cost them big time.

We are already seeing the influence of poor refereeing.

So was Peyper channelling his inner Kaplan by ignoring every French infringement?

Jesus wept. 3 games into the RWC and the lasting impression of all games is referee controversy.

Way to go World Rugby. This looks like shaping up to be one of the worst World Cups for all reasons relating to referees

Three exciting, competitive matches in the glass half full end of the stadium.

Annoyed at the result, I wanted the Argies to win, and they almost snatched it with that second half performance. First half was rubbish though.

I was cheering for France in this one. I think they have a pretty good squad this RWC with some of their newer faces ready to make a splash.

Argies are a frustrating team to watch.
