I'm happy with the penalty. Calling it an intercept attempt is taking the piss.
Much like an overlap is now a justification for a YC. There was clear defence behind Stevenson.

Yup that's the way the refs have been told to police it. If you stop an attack by intercept well done, but if it goes forward = penalty/yellow. Means there's no interpreting of intentions needed to be done by ref.

Marshall wanking on about potential backline plays at that earlier scrum and doesn't mention the possibility of Crusaders playing for a scrum penalty when Crusaders had won a scrum penalty the previous scrum.
What then happened? Crusaders get a scrum penalty.
