There doesn't seem to be a coherent strategy.
According to different speakers Biden is a feeble, senile old man who can't leave the house, AND a dynamic Antifa-leader who’ll be burning cop cars by night & transforming America into Cuba within 3 months during the day
I didn't watch. Who made the second part of this claim?
I thought the narrative they've pushed so far is that he's not a capable leader, therefore the fringes will have too much influence
Yeah I didn't see that at all. Message was Biden is weak, without principles and will not stand up to the radicals of his party which now define the party.

No. Just that he is too feeble and clueless to not allow it to happen.
Whether that is true or not - it is for certain he had made behind the scenes deal with the more radical part of his party as a condition for their support. they constitute a large part of the Democrats now, albeit still a minority. -
David Dorn, George Floyd, Jacob Blake
I know which black man I would champion.
But what do I know, I'm white.

I think everyone predicted this:
“I don’t think there should be any debates,” Pelosi told reporters. “I do not think that the president of the United States has comported himself in a way that anybody should that has any association with truth, evidence, data and facts.” “I wouldn’t legitimize a conversation with him nor a debate in terms of the presidency of the United States,” she added.
So Pelosi's idea of opposing Trump is to call him names and hope if no-one challenges him and we all pretend he doesn't exist, it somehow wins the argument.
If Trump's a big buffoon, Pelosi's an equally large clown. And these are two of the most powerful people in US politics...?

Everything you said is exactly how Trump treats Pelosi. Refuses to engage with her even on issues of high importance to the nation and calls her way worse names than that. TBH I think she is just trying to wind him up.

Not sure that its about championing anyone, its about the fear and shame that almost every black family in America feels. I think Doc Rivers really expressed it best.

Yep. They're no better than each other.
So in a time of national emergency, you end up with crap like Pelosi telling people not to worry about COVID-19 as it's all under control in an attempt to sabotage Trump's Coronavirus message

As I think cato said earlier, the US are fucked up. They are so partisan now, and with so many important posts being elected, no one at the top is doing anything for the good of the country

Full disclosure, I am no fan of Trump or the stranglehold he has on the Republican party, but this is the most divisive climate I have experienced after 28years here. The country is divided to the point of being disfunctional, but in my opinion Trump stokes this division at any opportunity he can as he thinks it personally benefits him.

He's a big part of the problem for sure. He makes no attempt to unify and even if he tried now I'm not convinced his opponents would believe he was being genuine

I hope someone sane, reasonably able, and with an ability to do things comes up on the outside over the next few years. That a cleanout of some of the more childish "senior" politicians typified by Pelosi & co.
Neither Trump or Biden seem to fit that bill. One's too divisive and a Biden presidency would almost be as ineffective as Obama's

It will require a centrist statesman who can bring the two parties closer together
