Cultural appropriation. I’m feeling guilty now for trying to learn French.
Well, you're not alone. Bob Marley was white - and he stole reggae.

It seems clear that for some at least, BLM is about opportunities to start arguments with random people about anything at all, so long as you can tie it in some way to the concept that a black person could have died.
This woman is taking a shop worker to task because in catching two shoplifters who happened to be black, the police could have come and shot at these shoplifters and they could have been killed. It appears it is the responsibility of everybody never to call the police if the perpetrator of a crime is black.
I can imagine the endless satisfaction of the woman who filmed this, basking in the acclaim of her friends. If she can save just one life, it will all have been worth it!
Why the fuck do these morons with phones think they have the right to do this? I hope she gets taken apart on whatever social media she shares that on. And I hope the kid gets a promotion for doing everything right
Get fucked Karen. Her very voice makes me think incredibly violent thoughts

Seattle hires ex-pimp to be 'Street Czar'
The city of Seattle has hired an ex-pimp at a $150,000 a year salary as the new "Street Czar," Andre Taylor. Before Taylor was contracted by the city to provide "expertise and support services in de-escalation, community engagement, and alternatives to policing," he was engaged in prostitution............

Apparently a report on the Breonna Taylor case which was leaked to Officer Tatum
Interesting reading. Certainly paints a very different picture than what is generally being reported on social and main stream media. Now if they don't charge these officers then the city burns...decisions decisions.

Trump has now greatly expanded his original executive order banning critical race theory.
It will now prohibit federal funds from supporting critical race theory trainings in the federal government, in the military, and by all federal contractors. This could potentially disrupt CRT programs in half of the Fortune 500. The executive order will also disrupt the flow of money to academia's critical race theory programs. The order stops all federal grants that support CRT—with the potential to cripple hundreds of academic projects moving forward. The executive order also opens the legal floodgates: the President instructs the Attorney General to assess whether critical race theory trainings create a "hostile work environment" and constitute a violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act.
This twitter thread outlines the scope of it and some of the implications.

@Frank Whilst I loathe the idea of CRT, I'm not sure that effectively banning it from half the country is the way to go. Not sure which IS the way to go mind.
If you think its bullshit and harmful, you don't teach it. Right??

More that I feel a heavy handed approach could be counter productive
