started Ted Lasso a few days ago, 5 eps in, top show!!

Heartwarming, but not too cheesy about it with good humour, can see he would be good for the ABs 😂

Rebecca looks very sexy in some of her scenes.

Watching The Haunting of Hill House

Not really a big horror guy, but it's actually really good. The first episode is creepy. I like the way it's put together, with the two timeframes telling the story. It seems really well developed, and i am looking forward to how it plays out.

Apparently the 2nd (but unrelated) season is even better?

@mariner4life I really enjoyed The Haunting of Hill House but haven't watched the new series yet. From the little I've read it doesn't have the horror of the original.

@Bovidae its next on my watch list after S2 of Umbrella Academy, think I have 2 eps to go.

What appealed to The Hill House was more the atmosphere which gets the hairs on your neck up rather than a big fright or CGI

@Bovidae Good show. Watched it a second time. Love how characters are introduced in layers which adds to the mystique of what is going on.

    Finished Ted Lasso

Really good, great watch, plenty of laughs, could easily have been cliched and cheesy but they managed to skirt most of that provide a quality show, with plenty of excellent characters.

@mariner4life I'd say no, Hill is better than Bly.
Bly was a bit boring, Hill had more jumps and a better storyline.

I really enjoy shows with good characters the most and even though at times this veered into Richard Curtis like cliched characters they did it well and had you cheering and jeering along. By far the best show I've watched this year (by best I mean most enjoyable)

Yeah bit different from the usual and a distinct lack of huge drama or action but despite all that, extremely watchable and catchy.

Love Hugh Laurie and almost all his work, but I found the first episode of this series unrealistic, predictable, cliched and very dull.

    AWAY

Netflix drama about multinational effort to get to Mars. Team is a Pom, Indian, Chinese, Russian lead by Maggie, the boxer from Million Dollar Baby.

High budget shit. Episode two and we're lead to believe NASA is the complete opposite of what you see in Apollo 11...
