Agreed. Although not to put anyone off the process, one one side I wasn't administered enough local anaesthetic. Problem rapidly solved.

I got them to tranquilise me. Just a sedative, but the whole concept freaked me out and being a little stoned was certainly a help. Pretty good excuse too I think.

Probably worth mentioning that if you make the decision not to have kids, you will probably be asked to get the snip. I had some good advice about that - choose a weekend with lots of sports on TB, you won't be moving much. Also have multiple bags of frozen peas or suchlike in the freezer...

Has been well worth it ever since though.

My wife was very paranoid about getting pregnant prior, so condom only, post snip was like walking in the mud barefoot, wish I had done it earlier 🙂

....you guys still get to have sex?.....now im sad again

That was almost 15 years ago..... The key for me is to make sure I don't piss her off, do all my chores and make her plenty of tea. Then I go from a 1% to 2% chance 🙂

    it won't have

Bugger, I might have to roll the big guns out and pick up a nice takeaway, a bottle of red and then sit through some bullshit TV about a farmer choosing a wife.while rubbing her feet.

    .....

Is that not considered grovelling? The takeaway and the red, yeah fine, but the TB show, fuck that. Feet rubbing - if you really have to, feet end up at legs that end up...

While Australia might be a bit more competitive than here in NZ (in cricket). Might be surprised at the standard you can get away with. Can be 'hidden' until your body catches up a bit and muscle memory starts to return, In the mean time beers on the sideline if you're in a social grade, and after the match.

Team sports clubs are genuinely pleased to have the new players to keep the teams ticking along, needs some constant renewal. Club captain will get you into a team that needs you.

I am too scared to get the snip after two guys at work had complications, both within a couple of months of each other. One guy claims he swelled up to the size of a tennis ball and was crying from the pain. He was on light duties for over 6 months. Fuck that.

And in proof that God does hate gingers, especially the fat bald ones, a ginger I know provided a sample to test whether the snip had worked, only to be told he hadn't produced enough even after abstaining for nearly two weeks.

Those are all choices of course, which gets back to the OP about having kids.

It would seem from this thread that parents with kids don't shag as much as those without?

You make your own luck (well to some extent).

I might have been doing this wrong. So speed is a good thing? I was led to believe otherwise.

I'm asking sexual advice from my insurance broker. Fuck.

@Snowy speed probably not good when you have all the time in the world...but when working to a tight time frame or anticipation of a kid walking in...I guess you could say that is a benefit of having kids!

That comes back your poor training in the first place. Lock them out, take your time, let them cry. See why I am not a parent?

The dog tried to get involved a few times and we aren't into that, so retraining was required and she gets locked up (the bitch - not the wife, the dog, you sickos).

@ACT-Crusader Yeah not too far away from there out in the bush.

And let me tell you - as a former country boy - I'm jealous as shit of that.

Once these two little food / money black holes move out I'm going to work hard on Mrs TA to GTFO of Sydney.

In fact I'm considering pushing one or both of them to rural Universities like Charles Sturt Wagga/Bathurst/Orange or UNE in Armidale in order to look at investment properties they can rent back off me with friends.

Will you be able to take the Powerwall with you?

I will get a new and BIGGER Powerwall... but actually a more energy efficient house would be a start - particularly if its only the 2 of us.

Run an eco-B&B. People will pay premiums for ethically-sourced mungbean-fibre carpets or whatever.

I would certainly prefer to service myself rather than get pity sex or a "make it quick" session.

I think alot of guys struggle with the transition from almost too much rooting to basically having to beg for it. Tis a weird phenomenon which no doubt has some kind of biological basis.
