We don't have Netflix due to rusty internet so am purchasing DvD series. Just about finished first series.

It's awesome. Took me a while to get past the Batman Psycologist character and into Tommy but now he just rocks!

TWD - so building up for a big finale next week, which by all accounts leads into the start of the next season where Negan hits Alexandria.
So, the ending....while I've been expecting Darryl to die for a while now, I am wondering if it is that guy that has been shot in the back of the head by Carol with her somehow coming across them and gets him but we are left thinking it was Darryl.
Getting into "Hannibal" at the moment, just about nailed season one over the long weekend. As a fan of the movies and books I was pleasantly surprised at this effort, I was under the impression that it tied in events between Hannibal Rising and Red Dragon but they've obviously done a James Bond/Batman style reboot ( using modern technology/pop culture references etc ).

Mads whatshisname from Bond is great if completely different than Anthony Hopkins. Freddie Lounds as a sexy red head works better than as a tubby....well...bloke. The others are all compelling too....really interested to see what angle they take with everything as it progresses.

think S3 is where Red Dragon makes his appearance...I thought S1 & 2 were good but went downhill after that.

Fair call, will still stick it out though.

The Movie version of Hannibal was great but shit he sure did benefit from incredibly stupid people trying to catch him ( the retard Italian cop turning his back on him being a prime example )

The guy who created the Hannibal series (Bryan Fuller) is doing the new Star Trek show, so it might actually be good too.

Onto Season two of Peaky Blinders now.

I think Tom Hardy might currently be my favourite actor. I have yet to see a film where I thought he only OK.

Churned through the first season of 'Bloodline' over the long weekend. Started slowly but I thought it was brilliant, really compelling. Love Kyle Chandler, but Ben Mendelson steals the whole thing.

Pretty amazing cast for a TV show. Sam Shepard, Sissy Spacek etc.

Mendelson does play a great dirtbag.

Yeah it kicks into gear at about episode 6 I reckon. Not everyone's cup of tea though.

Finished The Night Manager last night, thought it was pretty good, really liked Hugh Lawrie as the bad guy!
Thought they made it far too obvious there was a thing between Birch and Jed, the constant lingering looks, no way would Roper have not picked up on it sooner. Although Corky picked it up pretty quickly, it was too obvious for no one else to have as well; although I guess Roper was a pretty cunning fella so may well have known for some time (assume Corky told him anyway) so was keeping his enemies close...?

Assume it left like it did for a 2nd series...with the rich Arabs taking him to kill him or they know how valuable he is alive (either to them or someone else) as it seemed far too easy for them to take him - or they actually 'rescued' him?
TWD finale....interesting.
I really struggle to think that Negan wouldn't have just killed all of them as a statement rather than keep them alive to work for him, like it appears he is doing, as there is always a chance they will be looking to get out.

Obviously don't know the distances involved, but would seem odd such a huge amount of people would exist without having bumped into one another before (I mean dealt to Alexandria when it was full of pussies who had no idea what the world was like) assuming there must be a lot more people where ever they lay thier hats and assuming they have women too otherwise is a mass sausage fest.

Also, was blindingly obvious they were walking into a trap, but seriously, there were no other roads they coulda taken where Negan didn't have his men, or is his army that vast, in which case I refer to my point above again
