think S3 is where Red Dragon makes his appearance...I thought S1 & 2 were good but went downhill after that.

Fair call, will still stick it out though.

The Movie version of Hannibal was great but shit he sure did benefit from incredibly stupid people trying to catch him ( the retard Italian cop turning his back on him being a prime example )
-

I watched 3 or 4 eps but couldn't get into it.

Yeah it kicks into gear at about episode 6 I reckon. Not everyone's cup of tea though.
-

Finished The Night Manager last night, thought it was pretty good, really liked Hugh Lawrie as the bad guy!
Thought they made it far too obvious there was a thing between Birch and Jed, the constant lingering looks, no way would Roper have not picked up on it sooner. Although Corky picked it up pretty quickly, it was too obvious for no one else to have as well; although I guess Roper was a pretty cunning fella so may well have known for some time (assume Corky told him anyway) so was keeping his enemies close...?

Assume it left like it did for a 2nd series...with the rich Arabs taking him to kill him or they know how valuable he is alive (either to them or someone else) as it seemed far too easy for them to take him - or they actually 'rescued' him?
-

yeah seemed a bit rushed really.

TWD finale....interesting.
I really struggle to think that Negan wouldn't have just killed all of them as a statement rather than keep them alive to work for him, like it appears he is doing, as there is always a chance they will be looking to get out.

Obviously don't know the distances involved, but would seem odd such a huge amount of people would exist without having bumped into one another before (I mean dealt to Alexandria when it was full of pussies who had no idea what the world was like) assuming there must be a lot more people where ever they lay thier hats and assuming they have women too otherwise is a mass sausage fest.

Also, was blindingly obvious they were walking into a trap, but seriously, there were no other roads they coulda taken where Negan didn't have his men, or is his army that vast, in which case I refer to my point above again
-

Yeah, I wasn't sure how they would get a second series out of it with the series 1 villain in prison but they have and it's excellent. It's the mark of good writing that in when episode 1 started there was no indication at all that we'd be where we ended up in episode 5. Sarah Lancashire is great once again, but there are some other great performances too. Molesley from Downton Abbey plays a detective who's gone off the rails big time, Shirley Henderson is a creepy stalker, and Neville Longbottom from Harry Potter plays an alcoholic waster and some other minor characters come into their own as the series goes on.

I just finished this series, thought it was excellent! Assume the way it ended it will be coming back for a 3rd, will be interesting to see how they weave in another story with it as they did here.

Moaning Myrtle was very creepy as the deranged stalker!

I still cant see him as Neville Longbottom though!
-

Halfway through season 3 of Hannibal, it's certainly taken a turn for the weird ( er ) and more surreal but I've invested time into it so I have to see what happens in the end now. I haven't figured out how the Police in Italy aren't ordered to arrest him on sight though considering all he did in the states.

Watched it a couple nights ago and at the time I didn't like it at all.

In hindsight now I'm thinking I'm now at the point where I just want everyone to be safe, grow crops, have caramel coloured babies and live happily ever after. I hope it wraps up soon to that end..but fully expect them to flog a dead horse for many seasons with as much shock and horror as possible. Maybe I'm getting too old for this type of tv.
-

Yeah, it's definitely into a "dreamy" Giallo-esque phase. I didn't care for the tooth fairy stuff, but the finale was good.
-

It is going over pretty familiar ground to someone like me who has seen all the films and read the books. I found the chick who played Margot Verger rather hot I must say so anticipating something pretty cruel and gruesome in the storyline involving her brother.

I know with shows you have to leave your brain at the door to some extent but Hannibal's genius is only exasperated by some of the fucken morons who are trying to catch him. It's also 100% bullshit that Crawford would turn a blind eye to some of the shit that Graham gets up to at the end of season 2......nevermind, still incredibly entertaining. I for one hope Harris writes a couple more books, first one bridging the gap between "Hannibal Rising" and "Red Dragon" and the last one as a conclusion although some might argue "Hannibal" ( movie, not the TV series ) is just that.
-
Fear The Walking Dead.

Very very meh about this. The actors are pretty shit and the only guy I don't want to get eaten is the black dude driving the boat.

If E2 doesn't improve then I'm out.
