@mn5 that might explain why I have trouble remembering it apart from young lawyers bonking everyone. At least Boston Legal had cigars, brotime and Dalmore [or Chivas Regal].
Denny Crane!

I really enjoyed the first few seasons of Suits. Like all US shows it started to fall apart when they tried to do too much with the overall story line.
Only problem I had with it was the continual bullshit about recruiting only from Harvard. That got really old, and really stupid, really quick.

@majorrage Pretty sure there are only two universities in the american television universe, MIT and Harvard. I suppose Stanford gets the occasional mention though.
Don't forget they made a firm exemption to allow MM to study at Colombia. Like it was some sort of second-tier ...

Never watched Big Bang Theory, eh?

Blackadder: I then leapt on the opportunity to test you. I asked if he'd been to one of the great universities: Oxford, Cambridge, or Hull.
Nurse Fletcher-Brown: Well?
Blackadder: You failed to spot that only two of those are great universities!
Nurse Fletcher-Brown: You swine!
Melchett: That's right! Oxford's a complete dump! -

Mentioning that has only confirmed how shit the show actually was and how the only decent characters were Donna ( great rack ) and Lewis ( even though he looked like a chipmunk )

my wife really liked Suits. I was banned from watching it with her when, in every episode, about halfway through, i would exclaim "oh that is complete bullshit, that would never, ever happen". Every episode. Without fail.
The whole premise is retarded.

But it had Tits, Giants and Dragons. Suits never did.

aaahh fantasy world v Manhattan lawyers? that's the comparison you want to make?
that said, i probably believe in dragons above some legal firm allowing a guy who never went to law school to try cases.

This is now the celeb gossip thread.
Did he call it?
Interpreter Zhe âShellyâ Wang allegedly denies splitting up Bill and Melinda Gates

The point is that anybody who watched Suits, a legal show, expecting it to be realistic is as stupid as anybody who thought Game of Thrones would be.
Legal work is 98% dull as dishwater, boring as batshit uninteresting faff. 100% offence intended against all online lawyers. Your job sucks arse and you know it. And that's partially why you charge so damn much for it & hence are all rather wealthy.

Yep. Wife and I both lawyers. Tried to get into it. Appreciated a lot of little nuances and the grain of truth in each character (including Litt). Had to stop watching after the fifth time saying âoh thereâs no fucking way he couldâve drafted a memo that quicklyâ.

No offence taken and would say that youâre underestimating just how dull it is. Where should I send my invoice, btw?
