my wife really liked Suits. I was banned from watching it with her when, in every episode, about halfway through, i would exclaim "oh that is complete bullshit, that would never, ever happen". Every episode. Without fail.
The whole premise is retarded.
Did you watch Game of Thrones? Seriously, the amount of bullshit in that was insane.
But it had Tits, Giants and Dragons. Suits never did.

aaahh fantasy world v Manhattan lawyers? that's the comparison you want to make?
that said, i probably believe in dragons above some legal firm allowing a guy who never went to law school to try cases.

The point is that anybody who watched Suits, a legal show, expecting it to be realistic is as stupid as anybody who thought Game of Thrones would be.
Legal work is 98% dull as dishwater, boring as batshit uninteresting faff. 100% offence intended against all online lawyers. Your job sucks arse and you know it. And that's partially why you charge so damn much for it & hence are all rather wealthy.

Yep. Wife and I both lawyers. Tried to get into it. Appreciated a lot of little nuances and the grain of truth in each character (including Litt). Had to stop watching after the fifth time saying “oh there’s no fucking way he could’ve drafted a memo that quickly”.

No offence taken and would say that you’re underestimating just how dull it is. Where should I send my invoice, btw?

My wife is a lawyer and had the same reaction, though she enjoyed it for what it was. We only did season one though, couldn't be bothered going beyond that.

Call me cynical but why would someone wanting privacy have a press secretary? Do even run of the mill celebrities courting the media have these?
But congratulations, good luck to the young tacker.

Named after a new online betting company? ... A lovely little sister for Stradbroke 😀
The Queen’s nickname within the family (as a girl) was Lilibet, so it’s far more cynical than that.
You are right - after losing Prince Philip and reportedly gaining a generous gift from his estate the Royal House of Whinger will have done its sums. The forward projection has identified two more similar milestones, one assured in a couple of years and the other perhaps a decade further on.
This is what one might call a carefully choreographed, ostensibly polite, profitable bow and curtsy, conspicuous but distant and therefore the cynicism and insincerity evident in their eyes is not visible.
If the plan was to swiftly become the most unscrupulous, least credible and most unpopular public figure this Harry palooka is the successful example to follow. If you had a mate who had such cruel disregard for his grandparents in their 90s, and such disrespect for his family, you would take him out the back and help him to get his mind right. He'll be lucky to survive her with any credibility and he will be afforded little sympathy.
Pre-skank he was 30 years old with $20+ million in the bank, pulling $4 million a year from his father and expecting another $7 million from his great grandmother to land in his bank when he turns 40. Carefree, wandering about the world distributing happiness and joy like Santa Claus, playing soldiers, learning the Haka at your Linton military base, rooting whatever he fancied!
Then he was persuaded that being fortunate was r-eight-cist or something and he has been perfecting victimhood for the five years since. You could not make this stuff up!
The sheila is just a spiv, exploitative and amoral, worthless in the grand scheme of things, temporary. The greatest threat to her is other females.
The smart ones will have spotted her coming right at the jump, as a risk to their domain and to the established pecking order. They reserve their most brutal attacks for their own species, they will see her off in time.

Although I think your view is shared by a lot of people here in the UK, you are missing one key part.
They are absolutely thriving in the US, as nothing, absolutely nothing, makes more money/fame than a super wealthy, famous, heavily connected a-lister playing the victim.
Perhaps I'll show interest again when they face a real interfviewer who asks them real questions, and perhaps, even challenges them on one of their superficial, woe-is-me claims.

They are absolutely thriving in the US,Major Rage - we are in fierce agreement ("superficial" is apt) but I had written enough.
I am pleased I visited parts of the USA a couple of decades ago ('85 onwards) - I am certain I would not enjoy it near as much now. My company head office was in Dallas-Fort Worth, the directors were hospitable and generous hosts, I was part of the Australian executive and was fortunate to see the best of it.
That was old Texas money - wealthy, educated, accomplished, worldly. They are reserved and cautious, much as I found business people from your Christchurch. The mindset in other parts of that disaggregated continent is very different.
I have followed politics there closely for the past twenty years, witnessing an empire in decline - accelerating decline now. The worship of money, fame and the fatuous is a symptom of that.

Don't really follow the Royal Drama stuff, but this headline made me laugh...
