Fuck, Beale has been rubbish. Made one very good defensive play when the Pom winger was almost in, but other than that, loads of shite

Nearly over. England have little spark or creative about them. Australia have not enough power and make too mistakes to trouble seriously an organised outfit like England. Not a riveting watch.

Australia chance their arm at the end. Get turned over. England run it back and score. England 32 Australia 15. All over. Dull as dishwater that.

England 8th win in a row. I suspect the next RWC Final will be between two 6 Nations sides.

That's a fucking rubbish call on White from the TMO. That should be reviewed and dismissed

Another game dominated by the TMO. What the fuck has happened to rugby?

Harsh obstruction call. Englishman fell into Nic White there.

Possibly, but as Drew pointed out in commentary; players know the refereeing team is harsh on players that change their lines and he did so solely to impede the English defender.

Two dumb YCs didn't help the Wallabies either.

There’s always Italy and Scotland to keep it real, Wales too.

I watched 15 minutes of the ABs, and then turned off with the YC. Been coming for a while.

Also cancelled my sky subscription - partially because cricket season is coming, but mostly because rugby is just a complete lottery these days. The TMO seem to exemplify virtue signalling; if they look at an incident, it'll be a card, but so much else gets let go. It's the inconsistency that has robbed the joy for me.

So, just not enjoying it like I used to. It's really sad, lockdown probably has some effect for me, but frankly the officiating has finally turned me off the sport.

Hopefully a good break will help; i'll still go live and see the Blues, but can't be bothered investing too much more in it right now

Yeah, the extreme inconsistency of when or whether the TMO intervenes is very annoying, there's probably dozens of rucks every game where you could find a card for reckless play with players copping shoulders to faces/heads all the time. It's a blight and there's no solution in sight

We deserved that. Discipline and handling terrible.

Need our younger flyhalves to come along next season as JOC isn't doing it at Test level.

Disappointing game. It’s neither wet not cold (relatively) why play like it is?

Odd observation … I liked Hartleys fashion and will be hitting the shops this week.

Yuk. Another game ruined by the Tmo. Nrl is a better product than Union now.

Well, that was a poor advertisement for the game. @NTA said that maybe Aus deserved that and maybe they did, but not from that England side. Up on territory, up on possession (and often good possession too), up on the penalty count as well, but still we were a few minutes away from losing it. Aus we’re shite and we were slightly less shite but really offered little as a differentiator.

None of the selection experiments worked and in truth that match has given us very little apart from the W. We learned little that was positive from that game.

    Still fuming.

I've now watched all game minutes.

The intervention of the Home Broadcaster... 😐

This is going to be a big problem at some point in a crucial decision that wins a very important match. Nobody is innocent here, either.

I don't think Rugby is well suited to an analysis of the rules as you will find infringements in nearly every phase of play. It could become a very long drawn out spectacle with every try/play being overanalysed.
