I don't think the ABs are mediocre, they're just not the clear no 1 team from 2010-2015. The top 8 is now a lot more competitive, anyone can win against anyone on their day.
Yeah, I'm not finding the last two years (any) worse than 1998 or the early 00s or the early 90s.

That's a complete strawman. The point of getting Foster out is that he is not good enough. Simple as that. He was picked with zero credentials as a head coach and purely on nepotism
Then the root problem isn't Foster, it's the nepotism. Fix that first otherwise it's papering over the cracks and the nepots undermining the new coach.

Its pretty obvious also (like JBs a good FB not a winger) that you can't win regularly if the forwards don't get and retain 50% possession.

Since the 80s I've watched some of our greatest days and some of our darkest days. We've been spoiled since 2011. Being outmatched is an unwelcome and for most of the last 10 years unfamiliar. We need better cattle, a better plan. But it isnt going to happen overnight

I think they need to go Tupaea/Ioane, but expect they'll go Havili/Ioane.Give Tupaea a start. Pretty much nothing left to lose at this stage at 12/13. Reiko hasn't developed much and Havili has gone backwards.
