I find it hard to believe that Port was committing hate crime.
Well, it wouldn't be a BBC drama if there wasn't hate crime as part of the plot...

Watching Hornby: A Model World - about the model-train, aircraft and Scalextric maker.
Goes thru all the stages of designing a new model locomotive, manufacturing, marketing sales and making sure it grows the company. The amount of tech involved in getting the detail right is really high and leading edge (they developed their own mini-loudspeakers to get the train sounds right).
Quirky, fly-on-the-wall, lots of tech, historical research, interesting business aspects and surprisingly few nerds. Really enjoyable and we all like toys...

Ray Donovan - The Movie
The Circle of Life

I am not enjoying Bibba Fett.
Sad. Because I really liked The Mandalorian.
Will finish it though.
Just seems all a bit 2D and obvious.
yeah...not what i was expecting or hoping for, plays into all the thing i dislike about the movies, whats so fucking special about tatooine?
the fact its so quickly caught up with where we found him in the Mandalorian makes me think this might not be multiple seasons, might just be telling this specific story of how he got from where we saw him in RotJ to where we met him in the mandalorian

After Life
Watched it all in one sitting and pretty “meh” after the first couple of seasons. Definitely not a show with a long shelf life. The quirky characters all stopped being funny at once.
I’d say it’s done for good now.
the wife said pretty much the same thing last night whilst watching, getting a bit "little britain" with the over the top side characters getting their own stories but because they're their stories then they seem even more full on rather than little snippets as they interact with Ricky
didn't finish the episode we started last night

I wouldn’t bother….we had it on while lying on the couch deciding what to have for dinner and before we knew it the season was over.
The gay professional actor was a pretty funny new addition though.

Trigger Point
Just started on ITV in the UK
Excellent start

Finished The Detectorists
Loved it! Such a pleasant change from alot of stuff I watch, or what is aired.
No murders, no sex, no violence, no car chases (actually there was a bit of a charged scene on a narrow country road, Triumph v Scooter) just a cool story about 2 dudes obsessed with metal detecting looking for a little bit of history.
Enjoyed the ending.

Pretty much the same for us.
Almost as though we'd seen it before - multiple times

It is. Had a three season “arc”. Don’t think it was ever meant to be a comedy vehicle on the premise it started with.
This becomes more and more obvious as the shows go on. It’s an examination of grief.
I have to admit that the final series was a hard watch but I could see where he was trying to go. It all wrapped up a bit cleanly and feelgood.
Still, I liked some of the characters and it had some very good moments. Tony going to that yoga class with the instructor that kept sniffing was brilliant. -

Coogan has said that he had to think very long and hard about doing this. My guess is that the script is more about the coverup than the man character scum himself. In that respect it is good to publicise how this should never happen again.
Don't count on it. It's made by the BBC, Saville's employer, who knew about and covered up his abuse and rapes for nearly 2 decades.

Finally got round to watching Bridgerton with Mrs M.
Bit like Downton Abbey without the script-writing, acting, atmosphere, humour and entertainment-value. On the plus side, the BAME actors were at least given some of the better lines rather than the usual tick-box quota roles. Utterly dire stuff.
