I think Rock has recognised that and isn't turning the screws - not that he needs to. That one slap and Will's follow up yelling has eroded his entire career.
I hope he bounces back but as long as he's hitched to Jada you have to wonder if he'll ever get clear of the memes. Even if he leaves her (or she leaves him) that'll open up another round of shit. Really hope he doesn't do anything to himself.
Will Smith released a mini-series on his YouTube channel ostensibly about a fitness / weight loss challenge, which then morphed into him opening up and facing his inner demons and besmirching his now dead father for being physically abusive and covering the hurt / trauma through humour etc.... Anyway, it was a bit of the usual out of touch self indulgent Hollywood rubbish, but left me with the firm belief that the guy has more than a few screws loose

I honestly new very little about them as a couple aside from being likely scientologists (which I admit should have lead me to my event conclusion such sooner)

As I said it's been good for a few memes, and there's been some beauties posted in this thread. My comment was in the context of the discussion where it was questioned whether people could continue to enjoy his acting. From my POV absolutely, I couldn't give a shit about the slap. I've really enjoyed some movies Kevin Spacey is in recently, and that guy is a fucking creep.

I watched Bad Boys II after the slap and cringed at him for some reason.
Yesterday we watched King Richard and I didn't think of the slap once. He was excellent.
I just think he should forget about any tough guy type movies if he does get to carry on
