Maybe, seemed like he knew what he was doing. Even if not, his actions slowed the ball down illegally, so had to be penalised.

Great game so far, really embarrassing the people holding back this market for years. Smith and Lomani having a great battle.

@Kirwan probably right. It's one of the things that frustrates me about rugby sometimes - players getting penalised when circumstances, not necessarily intent, puts them in a bad position. Can't think of a better way to police it though because players will take the piss otherwise.

Intent isn't always relevant. Players who get in the way when they aren't allowed to be there are liable to PK whether or not they intend to infringe or not.
