    @MN5
    Can we at least agree that she is far, far hotter than her younger daughter?

    @dogmeat

    My Father bought me the book that the film was based on when I was a kid. I remember it as a long drawn out story with not much action. I didn’t appreciate it at the time but think I’d probably like it now.

    @dogmeat

    May be wrong, but didn't Montagu write the book the film was based on?

    @MN5 she was pretty hot in true lies...although also a long time ago

    One of my favourite films. Arnie was soo good in that as was JLC. On screen chemistry was off the scale.

    Old film. In the Heat of the Night - Sidney Poitier & Rod Steiger.

    Searing film with on-screen chemistry between Poitier & Steiger that's just on another planet.

    4.5 Martin Luther King's out of 5 KKK Grand Wizards

    @MiketheSnow I've not watched any trailer, I don't cos they spoil so much nowadays. But the fact there were actors actually doing scenes under g in cockpit, unlike 1, is awesome. They built themselves up in differing aircraft, and did the shots with 6 in cockpit cameras, in between puking, and came down knackered and drenched in sweat. Tom cruise maybe a nut job, but he knows about doing your own stunts, and all the others had to follow his lead.

    There's no movie that has anywhere near portrayed in cockpit action adequately, so I'm looking forward to just seeing that.

    Always funny how after people get a backseat trip, like engineers and air traffic controllers (was most often in Falklands, 2 every Friday), how fucked they were on landing, and that was with very limited maneuver allowed. Literally had to lift a few out at the end.

    Nope that was utterly laughable, almost as unrealistic as some soldiers not saying a word to each other for hours despite what they went through. Dunkirk was art house, I reckon despite all the hoorah bullshit top gun 2 will almost certainly have, it will not have to try too hard to be more realistic then Dunkirk. Was cool to see real planes tho

    @NTA There was a time when Portman in cosplay would have got me excited. I think that time has passed.

    Actually, I'll think a bit more about that

    Having never been involved in a dogfight in any kind of plane whatsoever I’m certainly no expert……but I thought that part of the movie was really well done.
