What an amazing young lady!

Just won her second and consecutive Major.

Feel a bit for Ariya Jutanugarn. Never won a tournament before let alone a major. Two shot lead over the feild with three to play and finishes bogey bogey bogey.

Got a whole lot of love for Lydia though! Awesome result

Now that she's over 16 that looks slightly less creepy written down.

She just gets better and better - can play tournament after tournament and post sub-par scores. If she has a week where the putts fall, she blitzes everyone. If she struggles for putts, she can still win. So incredibly consistent.

And she has strengthened so she is starting to match them better off the tee.

doesn't cope with pressure very well though....... Needs to birdie the last, lays up on the par five and knocks it to 30cms for "tap in" birdie! Just incredible.!!!

Pretty dam awesome.

Was following the online scoring and she looked to be struggling a bit today. Only parred all the par5s before the last. Having said that, a bogey free final round. Class!

And yep must be tough for Jutanugarn coming home like that!

wow, I was driving back form Kerikeri this morning and last I had heard she had dropped to 2 behind playing 13!

Such an amazing temperament, and seems a pretty nice kid too with a bit of personality which can be a bid devoid in some of the sporting superstars.

This is a great last round to watch. Lydia has had a couple of challenges in her own round but responded with so much steel (so far)

A couple of good challenges behind her too with Brooke Henderson (who has a lot to like about her) playing some amazing golf as well including holing a 90footer for eagle earlier.

Should be a good finish.

I like how she talks about the mental side of things. She doesn't seem to have any baggage about getting tilted from time to time. She'll only improve with time and knows it. Plus she is already looking more consistent so thing are tracking well on that front.

Henderson is only 18 too. Women's golf is a young woman's game.

Followed by a pretty average recovery. She will be doing well to get a par from here. Our Lydia nearly ready to tee off on the par three 17th which she manages to get it to about ten feet from the pin. A good birdie chance.

Good shot by Henderson gets her to about a dozen feet from the pin. She at least has given herself a chance to save par and keep the pressure on Lydia.
