Hilfe, meine Familie spinnt! (Help, my family is crazy!) was a German adaptation of the American sitcom Married... with Children and ran for 26 episodes on the German TV channel RTL in 1993. The series was a literal translation of the original series, only with German actors. All dialogues and gags were taken from the original translated scripts, except for the names which were changed to German ones.[1] Al Bundy became Jupp Strunk, Peggy was named Roswitha, the children's names were Tim and Biggi instead of Bud and Kelly, and the dog, originally Buck, was named Cobold.[2]

How fucken good is this show, I hate waiting for new episodes, I think the next one drops tomorrow the 20th.
The penny dropped well before the ‘surprise’ in ep3 but they underplayed it well enough that it worked.
Similar in ways to the first series of Homeland but better. Hope they leave at at one series. -

Really? It's worth it? I enjoyed S1E1, then it faded very, very fast for me. Didn't make it past S1E3. Should I persist?

I did watch it after seeing people saying they gave up on it. So maybe I'm just contrarian.

Finished the latest season of Stranger Things.
Still an enjoyable series, although thought it was a bit slow in parts.
I hope they have some good ideas for the next season, cos if not they blew the perfect opportunity to finish it there with a slightly different end that would have finished things pretty tidy.

Very well made and acted. If you are into sci-fi that poses questions rather than being space battles or a premise for an action movie then you'll probably like it. Kind of show I need to be in the right mood/level of tiredness to enjoy.

Fucken LOVED the games on the Playstation, the Movies were a mixed bag of rapidly declining quality……..( actually so were the games )……so anyone seen this on Netflix and is it worth a hoon ?
( I’m sure I’ll watch it anyway but I’ve found the fern to be pretty good at reviewing shows on the whole )
Quoting yourself on the fern, it doesn’t get sadder than that.
This is actually pretty good though, jumps between two timelines which seems to be the cool thing to do in shows/movies these days. SFX good, some nice gore…..the earlier timeline when the main characters are at school is a little bit “teen angst” though.

@taniwharugby I am behind those Amazon shows (The Expanse, The Boys, Bosch) but will resubscribe at some stage. It will take me a while to watch them when I do. Meanwhile Netflix has enough to keep me entertained until then.
