Im 30 (almost 31). Maybe im wasting what's left of my youth coming on here reading rubbish from a bunch of 40+ year olds. Might have to go away and come back in 10 years so I can see where you are coming from.

    1. My kids make me feel older. They're many years from their peak and I'm in irreversible decline. Sigh.

No wonder it seems like I'm arguing with children here. You're all kiddies.

Edit: Oops, maybe it is me because nobody is claiming to be over 60, yet...

Just turned 49 earlier this month.

Still don't know what I'm going to do when I grow up.

Didn't mind turning 40 and I've not felt the urgings of a middle age crisis over the past 9 years but I think as the next 11 and a 3/4 months progress - I'm going to feel the urge to buy a bright red convertable sports car.

And yes, I'm still playing GO's and touch footy twice a week when injuries allow. But the body which has honestly felt pretty good for the most part of the last decade, has really declined in the past year. Injuries which would have taken a week or two to get over now take months and the body parts that ache from the moment I get up until I go to sleep now out number those that don't.

All I can say is thank you Voltaren!

This season's GO's has been a bit of a loss as I've only played two games as I've been battling with Haglund's Syndrome - Achillies Tendonitis plus bursitis - in the achillies I completely ruptured 21 years ago which hasn't bothered me at all until this past year. Two rounds of cortisone and a pending PRP treatment are only putting off the inevitable operation.

My wife wants me to give up the GO's but I'm determined to play a full season next year as I hit the Hawaii 5-0.
