Saw Avatar last night and like others thought it was good. I have one question, is it weird that I was attracted to the Alien leading lady?
<br />
An alien sex scene cut from Avatar to keep the film's PG13 rating could be included on the DVD release of the blockbuster hit movie, director James Cameron says.<br />
<br />
Cameron said the film, which has already passed the $1 billion mark at the worldwide box office in just three weeks of release, would have several key scenes included on the DVD release.<br />
<br />
One of these would be a sex scene between two Na'vi characters - Sam Worthington's Na'vi avatar Jake Sully, and Zoe Saldana's Ney'tiri, a member of an alien species.<br />
<br />
"We had it in and we cut it out," Cameron said in a group interview, reported ReelzChannel.com.<br />
<br />
"So that will be something for the special edition DVD, if you want to see how they have sex."<br />
<br />
According to ReelzChannel.com, Saldana recently said filming the sex scene - of which only seconds were included in the version released to theatres - was difficult.<br />
<br />
"It was a very funny scene to shoot because there were so many technical things that sometimes you have to keep in mind that paying attention to all those might disrupt the fluidity of how a scene is supposed to take place," she said.<br />
<br />
"And because Jim was shooting for a PG-13 rating, we couldn’t move in certain directions. The motion would look a little too past the PG-13 rating standards. So it was really funny for Sam and me.<br />
<br />
"We had a lot of giggles there."
<br />
I've been reading a lot of Roman history during the holiday break. So I just had to re-watch Gladiator and marvel at the awesomeness that was the opening battle scene. Reading about the Roman army, how it was organized, the different weapons, how it fought, the movie seemed a good representation of what it must have been like to see a Roman force in battle.<br />

On my signal, unleash hell. <br />

Great movie alright. One of the best of the noughties, which let's face it haven't been that great movie wise. More 90s movies will survive the test of time than 00s movies IMO.<br />
<br />
Another Ridley Scott fav of mine is Kingdom of Heaven - director's cut, much better than the theatrical version. If only he'd casted a decent lead in it, like Eric Bana for example, it would have been a great great movie. With Orlando Bloom it's just a good movie. -
Saw Avatar in 3D last night. Fuck me. Coolest thing i have ever seen! Just brilliant. James Cameraon is about to have more money than god and oprah combined. Last time i was this blown away was after the first Matrix, which is now my favourite movie of all time. I may do a visit to the imax in Auckland later next week for a repeat. Astoundingly good, i can't rate it highly enough. And i agree the blue chick was hot.<br />
<br />
PDP i love Kingdom of Heaven too. -
I saw this on the new releases shelf, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mega_Shark_vs._Giant_Octopus . Hmm $8 and an hour of my life...........?

A movie that has Lorenzo Lamas as its lead can only be a masterpiece! -
Funny you should mention her as I wiki'd her just the other day along with Tiffany and all the MAS*H crew too.<br />
<br />
Colonel Potter is 95 this year!!!! and has outlived a lot of the younger cast. I still think there is no better acting than Hawkeye's laugh. Gee it is contagious -

Harry Morgan is a legend alright, had to believe Mash first aired in 1972!<br />
Love that show, still watch it often at home.<br />
<br />
Hard to go past the first couple seasons where they tormented Frank Burns. <br />
Legendary Tv. -
Cloudy with a chance of meatballs. Completely stupid but both hugely imaginative and funny. Almost moral free, just crazy fun! One of the best kids movies I've seen not done by Pixar.<br />
<br />
Mr T and Bruce Campbell voice a character each and are hilarious. -

Saw a anniversary show once and the guy that played Burns was the most popular member of the cast, he sucked up all the punishment he got on the show without a complaint and the rest of the cast loved him even more for being such a good sport about it.The last episode is still some of the best tv I've ever seen. -

Yeah I saw that as well. Harry Morgan looked old but still had all his marbles.<br />
<br />
Apparently the last episode is still the most watched episode of any show ever. -
US still had shed loads though back in the early 80's didn't they? I was there in 89 and had well over a hundy channels to choose from.
<br />
<br />
We had plenty of channels for many years, going back to the 1980s. And even back then there was nothing but shite on TV. -

BOTH Batman films ? well fuck me dead. I'd throw in 28 days later, Inglourious basterds, Gran Torino, Revenge of the Sith.....and many more I can't think of. Shit like Moulin Rouge, Amelie ( I assume cos I've never seen it ), Finding Nemo and Pirates of the Carribean have no place being there but like "Rugby teams of the decade" these lists are always pretty dubious.
