Those Nerds put it better than I could ever have hoped to.

My basic reasoning is that it would be better if it was betterer.....
-

finally watched Ant Man last night. What a harmlessly entertaining little movie. Some good humour, Rudd is perfect for these rolls, he pulls them off effortlessly, Evangeline Lily is hot as fuck (even in that ridiculous wig they put her in), it was just an easy watch.

Of the Marvel movies i can name off the top of my head, i would probably rank it about #5 (ahead of the last 2 iron mans, the 2nd avengers, and the first captain america).
-

You have the Thor's in your top 5? They're in my bottom 3 with the 2nd Iron man.
-
No forgot them, i didn't mind the first, the 2nd was terrible.
-

Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates: I pissed myself laughing at this movie. Zac Efron, the little dude from Workaholics, Aubrey Plaza and Anna Kendrick. Standard comedy storyline but nearly every single joke worked if you like a mix of gross out and pile on type lists humour.

Jegga/M4L/a bunch of poster's from the Guns and Strippers thread - there is bush, and by bush, I mean bush (none of this manicured Game of Thrones business).

7.5 High School Musicals out of 10.
-

I finally got around to watching Fifty Shades of Grey.

It is so much better than the book, but that is what they call damned with faint praise.

Dakota Johnson does pretty bloody well considering Ana is such a flaky moron in the book, actually gives her a bit of heart and humour. Jamie Dornan is a cardboard cutout, but Christian is such a revolting, creepy character, he had nothing to work with. The sex scenes are tepid at best, everything given a glossy plastic finish. Rainy day, no brainpower required flick.

4 fucked up shades out of 10.
-

the Trust - Nick Cage & Frodo.

Basically a couple of low rung cops and Cage finds out about a store of loot and convinces Frodo to go on a sort of... mission... quest... thing with him to steal it...pretty lame ending TBH

But 2.9 lifechanging mission quest thing out of 5.
-

Not a fan of the book Mokey,
I thought all you authors stuck together !
Of course I'm certain your work doesnt glamorise stalking and physical abuse -

Even authors are allowed to be readers, funnily enough. And like all other humans, our tastes vary. I admire E L James' success and savvy, but I hate the way she portrayed BDSM in her books. It is wrong and damaging and incredibly insulting to those who practice it.
-
For something that started as a piece of Twilight fan fiction, she did alright out of it.

But the wife read the book and said it was more "chick with serious issues" than "erotic fiction".

Mrs TA studied psychology at Uni, hence her analysis.

So I didn't get a single root out of it. -

Have you got her to watch Outlander, are a few eps in that which will get you one...but not the last ep of the series
-

Ha, yeah, probably the wedding episode rather than Wentworth Prison in Season 1.

To turn her into a sobbing mess seeking comfort sex, the episode 'Faith' in Season 2.
-

There's two things going on here, are you going to correct that in your next book and will you be writing it from firsthand experience ....?
-

Ha. I have a trilogy releasing next year through my American publisher that is set in a pleasure club. Book 2 has a sub/dom relationship.

Research is fun.
