What are you listening to, right now................

some songs are impossible to listen to without singing along. This is absolutely one of them
Absolutely zero chance you listen to this and aren't, by 2.42 you aren't all
"EEEW OH OOOO OH ALIVE AND KICKING"
and then at 4.34 you aren't like
'BA BADADA DA DA"

Whenever I see that vid ( and yes the song is an absolute banger ) I always worry the Bass Player is gonna fall off the cliff.
Mind you given that he’s only the Bass Player I doubt anyone would notice.

I prefer Don't You Forget About Me. That way I can think about Molly Ringwald and that scene where we got to see her undies. The hormones were raging in me back then and that scene had quite the effect.

Yes we can tell!

@mariner4life Great track.
Love this one by them:

On the subject that @Crazy-Horse started…..
This tune always makes me think of the ( formerly ) insanely hot Jennifer Connolly.

formerly?

Yes. She resembles a walking skeleton now. Still decent but not a patch on her early 20s.

@Tim For those not yet around in 82, I can't overstate how revolutionary New Gold Dream was at the time. Promised You a Miracle and Glittering Prize were like nothing I had heard before. My favourite and one I still break out regularly practically 40 years later is this one:

@crucial @pakman wow that has brought back some memories. I was in Europe by the 80's but the scene described (and the dreadful fashion in the photos) certainly resonates.
I wrote some reviews for Hot Licks - or at least I thought I did but in 30 years I've not come across anyone who remembered it. Good to know I hadn't just imagined it on an acid trip

Great song for testing out your sound system. When 80s production got it right (e.g. this and Grace Jones) it was awesome. Sadly when it got it wrong (most 80s pop) it is almost unlistenable now.
Same story with every tech leap in music production through history though.
