    Nice work bro, thanks for sharing the findings of your research project 🙂

    We've been doing the cauliflower as rice substitute a bit, and the missus has one of those farking zoodle machines for making noodles out of poor unsuspecting veges!

    Interesting how much change you saw in body shape/bulk with a reasonably small weight loss. Let us know how your bulk goes on the back of your cut!

    Also will add, forcing myself off sugar has made it easier to go without. Removed it completely from my instant coffees and don't miss it.

    It's great isn't it when you try out something, stick to it and can then assess results and make adjustments. Everyone is different and it takes time to find the right balance.

    If I want to lose weight, I just cut out carbs. Weight falls off me like I'm spending winter in Auschwitz. Problem is I like carbs.

    Yesterday morning weight was 99.9kg, celebrated it with maccas for dinner, don't know if that is how it works, but was still under the hundy today morning, probably due to the draining hockey game I got trough in the evening.

    Having all but hit my goal weight of 95kg (hit 96kg on weekend) I decided I need to track my intake, as I dont feel I am getting the required protein (reckon I was <50g yesterday) and I dont actually want to keep losing weight, if I can maintain this weight I'll be happy.

    So started recording my food (just used the Samsung Health app - seems to have plenty of NZ foods in there)

    Today after bringing some boiled eggs, left over roast pork, protein shake and protein bar, usual fruit, I am sitting just over 90g of protein for today so far - althogh one of the girls at work today bought in a big old cake for her birthday, woulda been rude to say no.

    Looking at various sites, some say I should be having 1g - 1kg, seen another that says 1.5g for 1kg of body weight, what does TSF collective say?

    @taniwharugby the app i am using to count my calories has my goal set at 119g of protein a day. And i get that every day. which given my current weight is almost bank on 1.5

    If you’re ever in doubt stock up on those musashi protein bars. 45 grams of the shit and they actually taste ok too. Salted caramel or cookies and cream are my favourite. I used to pay 5.99 per bar at the servo til I realised they’re only 3.99 at New World, I buy about ten at a time while out shopping, great value.
